I finally got to go to Kissena again....I had to do an observation drawing, so I went to draw a tree....I found a really good one, with a rift big enough to hide a child in. After drawing that, I ran down to the lake to sketch a little island...and found some ducks and seagulls just begging to be sketched. After that, I headed back to my siblings-and found a little girl that I used to play with when she was a toddler. It was astonishing to hear her talking...My siblings and I found some awesome sticks; one that looks just like an antler (kinda like the elks' from Princess Mononoke) and another like Gandalf's staff. We struggled up a steep leaf-covered hill, where we found some awesome trees...including a cherry tree. In spring, it'll be covered in the most cloud-like pink blooms you'd ever see. A hawk went wing through the trees and perched not twenty feet away. And to top it all, there was a beautiful sunset.
I'm exceedingly happy just now.^^
