Together we walk, talk and sleep
Together we live
Together these things we should do

Apart we live
In worlds so different
So far away
With many things alik
Yet so far from being the same

It is in these worlds
We experience things many would not
Love, friendships, happiness
While others feel nothing
But hunger, pain and loss

Down are those we do not care for
Yet alive feel those we do

Why is it there are those
Treated different
In those worlds no one knows of?

?Tis because we are heartless
To those less fortunate
Than ourselves

How we may treat a person
Is a reaction of how
We feel of their social stature
And how they look
And how they live

In two worlds apart
We bring two people together
To walk, talk and sleep
To dance, laugh and sing

Together is how we should be
Not apart in two far off worlds
