My Not So Thoughtful Thoughts

Death Note Anyone? Hm... well right now I'm thinking about everyone's opinions on the anime Death Note, or more acurtly the characters of Light (Kira) and L. Personally I prefer Kira over L. because if you think about it, Light beats L. Sure L finds out that Light is Kira, but by the time he is sure L dies anyways. No one really beat Kira. The only way they actualy took him down was when Mellow and Near teamed up. And even then the only way Light died was when Ryuk killed him. Still, Light's crazy, he's completly convinced that he will rule a so called perfect world. He's character kept my attention more than L.

Light is pretty pathetic in my opinion. At the end of the Anime he got cornered and obliterated by my favorite and probably most interesting character in the show, Near. L is a lovable character and has much more charm then Light, however Near defeats both in intelligence. I do hope you know that the only reason why Ryuk wrote Light's name in the Deathnote was because Near determined he was Kira and so that would lead Light to be sentenced to death. Knowing so Ryuk knew he would eventually died and so he took his life in the most ironic of ways and that was dealing him the same punishment he slandered his other victims with. But overall, Near is the superior character and my favorite of the series.
