Time for some random stuff. And a story, because Mike and I were talking about Mortal Kombat last night...and yours truely is MK obsessed.

Let me just say (in case you didn't realize this, or get the memo) I'm weird. When I play Konquest Mode in MK: Deception and Armageddon I...kinda...get IC. As Shujinko or Taven, depending on which game. In Deception's Konquest Mode I would "run" around and say out loud (or in my head) "Runnin', runnin', runnin'..." and purposely run into people. Just to see what would happen.

But it got worse in Armageddon....oh yes. Because MK:A's Konquest mode plays more like an RPG...although...those death traps are just..hard. I still can't get past Outworld -_-; I keep getting run over by the huge spiky ball

I know, right.

But there's a part in Konquest mode in which you're in the Lin Kuei Temple and you slowly and carefully make your way down this long hallway. There's nooks in the hallways for you to go into, because while you make your way down said hallway there are fireballs coming down. I did not know this. I walk into the hallway....and the following scenario plays in my head:

Taven: do-do-do down hall...what is that shiny thing down the---FIRE BAD!

and died.


And on an American Idol note...David Cook's haunting performance of Billie Jean was bloody fantastic. Now I know Chris Cornell did it first...but...I like David's voice. And it was just *sigh* beautiful. I could listen to it all day.
