4-3 OT Win
Game Preview: Montreal heads to Buffalo for their last roadtrip of the season. We'll start in Buffalo, go to Toronto and head to Ottawa for the last one. In this game, Montreal is chasing the first place, while Buffalo chases the 8th. Another battle of wills. The season serie is tied between both teams.
Final: Canadiens does an impressive comeback after a two goal deficit to win it 4-3 in OT. Mark Streit led to the Sabres third goal, but he sets up three wonderful passes/shots to get the team to tie the game up in regulation. And Tomas Plekanec. What a player. He absolutely kills the Sabres when we face each other, and tonight, he gets to goals. Ryan Miller and Carey Price has had a really good game in net, making good saves at good time. Chris Higgins gets the game winner! He finally unblocks! Wow. I can't believe how good the third period was. Habs takes back the first spot in the East.
My three Stars: 1-Mark Streit 2-Tomas Plekanec 3-Derek Roy Honorable mentions: Chris Higgins, Alex Kovalev, Paul Gaustad.
Scoresheet: Montreal: Alex Kovalev, Tomas Plekanec (2 goals), Chris Higgins. Buffalo: Drew Stafford, Nathan Paestch, Daniel Paille.
Next Game: Toronto Maple Leafs, MAR 29th.
