4-2 Loss
Game Preview: Unlike last year, Montreal and Toronto are not fighting for a play-offs spot. Habs, as you know it, already have a play-off spot secure. Unlike Montreal, Toronto has already been eliminated from the race. This game could be advantagious to both teams. If Canadiens win, they will only need one more point to clinch their division, and if Maple Leafs lose, they will get closer to the the first draft pick of the "Stamkos Sweepstakes". Some say Halak will start, and Brisebois is said to be reinserted.
Final: So we lose 4-2. Meh. Halak was average. Team didn't skate much. Meh. I'm not dissapointed. Atleast Kosto scored at the end! Go Kosto! Dandenault, freshly reinserted, got the other goal. Too bad O'Byrne got expelled early in the period. The other thing that let to our downfall was definitively our indiscipline. I don't have much else to say though. Still positive we'll have a great play-off run.
My three Stars: 1- Nik Antropov 2- Jiri Tlusty 3- Anton Stralman Honorable mentions: Mathieu Dandenault.
Scoresheet: Montreal: Mathieu Dandenault, Tom Kostopoulos. Toronto: Anton Stralman (2 goals), Jiri Tlusty (2 goals).
Next game: Ottawa Senators, APR 1st.
