I got out of the car and waved my Mom goodbye. It was 7pm and it seemed like not many people were here. It was FNO tonight [Friday Night Out]. I walked in the school. and looked around searching for any of my friends. I walked down the hall and then found Lena and Melany. Lena waved to me and called out "Hi Julia." I waved back and walked over to them. Then I saw more of my friends so I waled over to join them all. They were all crowding around Emma and Andy. Andy had asked Emma to FNO but she hadn't really wanted to go with him since he was kinda of dorky. She had agreed though out of kindness. I looked around the school then looked to see who was walking in through the doors. I stood frozen as Lily walked in. She smiled at me. I couldn't believe I was seeing her again after what seemed to be years. I started running towards her than jumped up to hug her. I hadn't seen her in over a month ever since she had moved. She hugged me back and I started telling her about how I glad I was to see her. We both walked over to our group of friends saw her. They all screamed at once as if on cue. They all ran at top speed towards Lily. She looked scared as if they all would kill her. She got tons of hugsand when they were all down we knew there were more to come from people she hadn't seen. We walked into the gym and we saw Ethan [the guy Lily had been crushing on for a long time.] She got love struck but didn't move. I walked over to Ethan and immediately said "Hey Ethan go say hi to Lily!!" He looked at her and smiled. Lily walked over to Ethan trying be cool and said "Hey Ethan! What's up!!" As she gave him a high five. They talked for a bit then left to go do other things.
As the night went on a song started playing which I didn't recognize at first but as it played on my eyes grew large and I ran into the caf where the dancing was going on. I looked around at the many many people who were dancing to this. I got in with my friends and started doing the dance I had just recently learned. After about 5 minutes though I was dead tired so I stepped off the dance floor to rest. After the song was over a slow song started and then I saw Jim and Kelsy dancing together. it wasn't a surprise since they were best friends but in a way it just kind of made me depressed.
