Nobody was home, so she decided it would be a prime moment to crank up the bass and dance to her favourite 'hardcore' songs. So she did. Hooking up the stereo speakers to her mp3 player, she navigated her way to the folder she wanted. Finally settling on a song, she retreated to the middle of the living room floor and began to dance.
Hearing the bass from down the hall, he emerged from the other room and strode toward the sound. Before stepping further, he stopped and stared intently at her. Her eyes were closed, arms on her hips, whole body moving to the amped-up bass. Grinning cutely, he strode up behind her, placing his hands gently over hers on her hips. Startled, she spun around, only to smile at the man holding her gently. Grinning, she swerved her hips from side to side, matching the rhythm of the bass coming out of the speakers. She closed her eyes and lifted her arms above her head, letting the music dictate how she should move.
Blissed, he kept his hands on her hips, swaying nervously with the beat. Eventually, she opened her eyes again, taking one of his hands in hers and holding it above her head before spinning outward. She let go intentionally, but didn't anticipate twisting her ankle the wrong way and landing sideways on the floor. He ran forward to help her up, but all she could do after sitting up was wave him away reassuringly and laugh. She laughed so hard that she let herself fall to the floor again on her side. He smiled, laying down on the floor in front of her. Panting from the laughter, she opened her eyes again and smiled at him, wiggling as close as she could before kissing him softly and resting her head near his shoulder. They wrapped their arms around each other as the music wound itself down, and slept.
