yea so i have been writing a story so i figured i'd put it on here ^_^ let me know what you think people, i need some feed back.....

Sono Karite

The cold night air swept over me, like fog over the morning sky. As I sat there smoking my last cigarette, after I said I would quit for the tenth time. I realized this night seemed to be different. This night was too calm. It was too untouched.
Not thinking on it for very long I took a slow drag and held it for a long time, closing my eyes and trying to forget all of my troubles. As I exhaled, opening my eyes, I was surprised to see a young woman standing in front of me with an emotionless stare on her face. As I looked at her she seemed not to even acknowledge my presence. I slowly stood up to come to eye level with her, but as I stood up I noticed something odd. There was a large maroon colored line going from the top of her left shoulder to the right side of her waist line Thinking it must just be a stain I tried to talk to her.
“Hey, were you looking for someone, because I‘m the only person here now?” I said slowly.
As the last word left my lips she seemed to snap back to consciousness, with a long high pitched scream. She began to fall over. I quickly caught her as she fell face first into my chest.
When she fell limp in my arms I noticed it, the reason why she had the stain on her. I quickly set her down and stepped out into the street pacing back and forth. Not knowing what to think I began to talk to myself.
“ What the hell is this?” I repeated over a few times “it looks like she was stabbed or, or sliced by something.”
With my mind racing I didn’t notice her body slowly moving away from where it had fallen. All of a sudden there was and ear splitting blast and she was blown to pieces, covering me and everything around with her blood and body. I stood for a moment not knowing what happened. Then as if I had been beaten in the chest with a sledge hammer; I couldn’t breath, as much as I struggled it only made the pain worse. I fell to the ground and just before I passed out I saw a large hooded figure carrying some sort of blade. As my eyes began to close it waved the blade and all of the woman was gone nothing was left, and in another ear splitting blast the mysterious figure was gone with her. I lay unconscious.

Five Years Later

Hey my names Kage. I’m twenty two now, and ever since that day five years ago nothing has been the same. I’m hunted by the dead , my life has become a literal hell. Every day I’m fighting for my life, they come at me with relentless force and without warning. I have not seen the Reaper since that day, but I know I should have. No one is left, my family, my friends and my lovers they’ve all been taken down by the Reaper. My only goal in life is to exact revenge for my fallen loved ones. I most likely will not survive for much longer so this is my story up to this point.

As I awoke, in a daze and soaking wet from what I thought was sweat. I lay there in the middle of the street surrounded by people gawking at me as if I was an alien from a different world. As I stood up I fell back to one knee, holding my head. No one helped me they just continued to stare. For a moment I knelt there, then I forced myself to stand up reaching my hand out for support hoping someone would help me. All but one person backed away, one girl stood where she was. As I looked up to her she extended her had and grasped mine pulling me up and holding me over her shoulder.
“Thank you” I said in a weak voice holding my head low.
She pushed me up on her shoulder a little more and spoke in a soft calming voice “I couldn’t just let you stay there in that condition.” She smiled lightly and spoke again “My names Kathy”
I smiled as the words left her lips. I stood there clinging to her trying to regain my composure. I looked around and everyone was still staring at me in shock. At that moment I looked down and saw the reason why no one would help me, the reason they were all so scared. The wet feeling I had when I stood up was not sweat, it wasn’t sweat at all. I had been covered from head to toe in the darkest of blood.
I quickly shook myself away from Kathy’s grip leaning against a light post breathing faster. “what is this” I said quickly.
She looked at me curiously “I think I should be the one asking you that” she barked at me. “I help you up then you push me away, you have some nerve”
I took a deep breath and stood a little straighter looking her in the eyes. “I’m sorry, I just don’t know what’s going on” I took another breath “and to be honest I’m a little freaked out by the whole thing”
I looked around at the crowd, still in fear of me, not knowing what happened to me. Beginning to calm down a little I stepped towards the crowd to try and get some answers, but as I moved closer they just backed away. I figured for now it would be smarter just to go home and try to work out what happened. I reached out to Kathy again as she helped me back to my house “I think I can handle it from here” I said quietly. She shook her head “I coming in with you, I don’t want you to pass out at again.” She said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. I nodded knowing she was right and led the way to my room. I sat down on the bed with my hand on my head breathing heavy. I worked up the nerve to ask her “so, ugh…. did you see what happened to me” I knew the answer as soon as I finished speaking, from the look on her face it was obvious that she was as oblivious as I was. I laid back on the bed and closed my eyes.
I woke up about an hour later with Kathy laying next to me watching me closely “well hi there” I said with a weak smile. She turned away quickly blushing. I laughed lightly. “So were you watching me this whole time” I said timidly. She nodded and blushed even darker. “You have nothing to be embarrassed about” running my fingers through her hair “I’m glad you were here, who knows what could have happened if you weren’t” I said moving a bit closer to her, and as I did she threw her arms around me hugging me tight. “I was so worried about you, I’ve always had a crush on you Kage but I’ve been to scared to talk to you.” She said with a tear in her eyes. I wiped the tear off her cheek slowly and smiled “Why would you be scared, your amazing, you’re the only one that was willing to help me, and I couldn’t be more happy that you did.” She smiled very wide and hugged me again breathing into my ear “I want to be with you.” I then began to turn a beat red. Holding on to her tight as we both drift off to sleep.
