Sarah looked as if she had just escaped from the eye of a tornado. Although it was no tornado she stepped out of, it was just a quick fly around the quidditch pitch with Davy, until their last seconds, before Hogwarts' doors would be locked for curfew. She was a beater, and Davy was a chaser, so they had planned out various routines over the years. Passing the ball back and forth, passing to Sarah, which she could hit back with her bat, scoring, aim, speed. The list of things to do was endless, but even more than practicing - it was a time for the two of them to hang out. During school hours, they were always around Sawyer, then at times, Alice, Matty, and others. Sarah had been particularly busy lately with engagements of her own, so having some time just the two of them, was a nice change. The nighttime flights had become a tradition of theirs, since coming back from Christmas holidays. Both of them were more than eager about the game, and the two of them seemed to be the only ones who would be willing to spend hours in the wind and rain, and keep on playing. Of course, Alice Logan was also an avid quidditch player, but lately, seemed to be focusing on something else. Sarah felt the brief sensation of pity and guilt - at the look on Davy's face, every time Alice refused their offer. No, Davy hadn't told her about his feelings for the girl, but it was damn obvious, and Sarah seemed to have teenage drama, crushes, and broken hearts jumping all around the gryffindor common room - including her own.

It was true, that another thought was occupying Sarah Wood's mind, and that was Sirius Black. Together for about two months - the two of them still were in that 'awkward new relationship' phase, without the awkwardness. The two of them, were two of the most unawkward people around, which could show as a two good people to be together, and for the most part - it did. However, with the new school term, the two of them were busier than ever - Sarah with quidditch, and Sirius with the marauders. For the past two months, the four of them would just disappear randomly for a day, and wouldn't come back until the next lunch hour. When they did - they always looked tired, and raggity - especially Remus. Naturally, the Slytherins took this opportunity, to make some snide comment about what exactly the four of them had been doing, and Sarah would shoot down every one. It bugged her that she didn't know, and it took all self-will, to keep from asking Sirius, whenever in his presence. She was a naturally curious person, so her mind often wondered to what it was, but she never got to any reasonable conclusion. But really, the two of them were busy people, and she tried her best to get as much time around him as possible. But between the marauders constantly clouding around the boy, and Sawyer and Davy making things difficult on her end - it was deemed a nearly impossible task. Yes, Sawyer and Davy were not happy about Sarah's new relationship with Gryffindor's star. The two twins rarely fought, but this was one of those situations which they did. It didn't end so well, and although they talk, their conversations were dampened drastically, and it was up to Davy and Matty to keep conversation rolling. It was obvious that Davy was shocked too, but it being Davy, pretended to be supportive. Perhaps that was why she loved the boy so much.

With Sarah's newfound separation from her two usual leeches, she found herself in the common company of Matilda Bell. Of course, the two had always been good friends - roommates since first year and all, and it wasn't until lately that the two of them grew close. Of course, Sarah knew of Matty's devoted crush to none other than Sarah's own twin - Sawyer. It was a weird concept to grasp - not her liking her brother - but because Sawyer in a relationship was absurd. The boy never seemed to be interested in anything of the like, and though past years of attempts at hinting things to Sawyer, he didn't seem to budge. Matty's big crush worried her slightly. If things didn't work out, the girl would be crushed, and after seeing her range of emotion, her weeping mood could not be the most pleasant of things. Like Davy's affections for Alice, Matty's feelings for Sawyer weren't a secret. Everyone noticed, except for Sawyer, who wouldn't notice if she wore a 'I <3 Sawyer' t-shirt, or wrote him a love poem. Sometimes the boy drove Sarah mad. Matty's feelings only seemed to grow, and she had requested the assistance of herself, and Davy, to perhaps drop some hints. The Valentine's ball was coming up, and trying to snag a date before the ball, was of vital importance. Unlike other years, Sarah did not have to worry, she and Sirius were going, and for once, she felt she could be calm about the whole thing - and what a relief it was. So from there on, she spent her time trying to help her friends as best she could. Davy and Sarah took every opportunity they could in Sawyer's presence, to casually bring up the date, and question about dates. It didn't work, and just got the conversation to change to a heated argument about Sirius Black.

Sarah's hands were freezing, and her knuckles were white from her tight grip on her broomstick. She and Davy had walked back through the school's corridors, and up the moving staircases, before arriving at the common room. The password was uttered, and they entered. Ten minutes were spent in the emptying common room, as they recounted the events of their night, laughing as they told of what Remus had done in potions class, and breathing their nightly 'catch you in the morning', before splitting up in their opposite directions towards their dormitories. Sarah continued up the narrow, spiral staircase, until reaching her dorm room, which she shared with Matty and Alice. The sound of music being played, could be heard from the outside, and it was obviously just Matty alone. Alice would have demanded that it be turned off, if she were there. Sarah gripped the door handle, and walked into the dorm. Sure enough, there were open boxes and trunks, with half-unpacked clothing, parchment, and quills lying about, as Matty unpacked her holiday cases. Sarah had done what was necessary. Since she really wasn't all that picky about her clothing and various things, she kept most of it balled up in her trunk. On her bedside table, was a worn copy of Quidditch Through the Ages, along with a half-eaten box of bertie bott's, and a quill. The corner of a coiled notebook, peeked out from the table drawer, which was her and Sawyer's record of everything. It was a photo album, journal, and notebook, all in one, and shared between herself, and her twin. They pasted pictures, commented on them, and then the other would comment back. Everything from a newspaper clipping, to lyrics of a song were written down on it's pages, and Sarah found herself reading the worn book, when she couldn't sleep. Sawyer was that part of her.

Realizing she was standing in the doorway, reminiscing, she quickly took a few steps forward. Her casual smile drew on her face, as she shook her hands madly, trying to regain some of their feeling, from their previous numb experience. "I see it's a party up here" she mentioned to the lump which was Matty - as she walked over to her own bed, and set down her broomstick. "You like this song, don't you?" she asked, being able to slightly remember the basic melody of the song, from previous times Matty had played this particular record. She grabbed her polishing kit from underneath her bed, and began to work on polishing the wooden handle, golden nameplate, and straightening the twigs on the bottom. She did this after every practice, game, and fly-about, which kept it in tip top shape. Rubbing at a dark spot, she glanced back over her shoulder "jus' about done?" she asked, her accent as strong as ever, as she turned back to her work. Out of habit, her tongue stuck out from the corners of her mouth, as she rubbed furiously at the oak broomstick. She decided not to mention dates, Sawyer, Sirius, or the Valentine's dance for now, and would wait for the other girl to bring it up. She didn't want to start any conversation, that would make a scene.

Perfect. That was how Dolores Jane Umbridge wanted it, and as far as she was concerned, that was the way Hogwarts would soon be. The ministry agreed with these views, so who is to stop her? No one. It was true that from just a couple days at the school, seeing the teachers bustle around and get things ready, she noticed more than a few faults with the majestic school. The teachers seemed very lax, and at ease with the whole system, and the preparation she thought would have taken place, did not seem to begin. For what she could grasp, they spent most of their time in the staff room, chortling at each other's comments about how they spent their time that summer, the latest conspiracy they had read in the daily prophet, and of course the most avid of conversations - Harry Potter. However, she knew they quickly hushed their voices, whenever she walked upon a group of them. Her proud dignity, and loyalty towards the ministry, was no secret. She quoted the minister daily, and took no time to shoot down any conversations that questioned the latest article in the wizarding paper. It was most likely an odd experience for most of the teachers at Hogwarts. For four years, most had been pro-Harry, and pro-Dumbledore, but now it seemed as if all of that, needed to be questioned and changed. Umbridge was quite pleased, to clear up any confusions on the subject - speaking ill of Harry and Dumbledore's lies came as second nature, and she can every daily prophet article, listed by date, tucked away in one of her decorated filing cabnits - in case Minerva came to her senses, and decided to check out the latest news that the daily prophet is keeping up to date with.

Today was the Opening Ceremony, and really, Dolores was very interested in how this would go. If it were as chaotic, and relaxed as the past few days had been, a well-written statement directly to the Minister of Magic, would be in order. If it wasn't than a letter would probably be written, regardless. Over the week before the students arrived, she took it upon herself to walk around the school, and check out the stone castle from bottom to top. The dungeons were unusually damp, and musty, and there was a change of fungus and moss growing in-between the stones. Of course, that was only suspected of a castle's dungeons, so she let that slide, besides - there was only one teacher who occupied the dungeons, and he seemed to be the only one who she immediately approved of. Severus Snape seemed to have the same view upon Harry Potter, and although he didn't seem quick to add in on discussions about Dumbledore, she took his comments about Harry the same way. He seemed the most calm, and work oriented during the week before, and seemed to be one of the only ones, who was completely prepared for the year's classes. All of the potions ingredients and equipment was kept in tip-top shape, in an orderly fashion, and his own stock of potions he had brewed himself, was vast, and rather charming. Yes, good comments about Snape to the authorities, were in order. None of the other teachers and classes had had quite the same ranks, as Snape's had achieved. The Astronomy tower's charts could do with some updating, and the Herbology greenhouses definitely needed a trim or two, as the plants covering the walls, and ground - were really unsanitary, and dangerous. She was most likely sure, that that was one of the fact covered in the Ministry's school proposal, dated back hundreds of years ago.

Minerva McGonagall was perfectly dreadful during that week, and as far as Dolores could see - she still was. She talked with such a snooty air to her, and quite a disrespectful tone it was. She also was completely against listening to any other side of arguments - mainly about Harry and Dumbledore. She was much too set on believing all the lies the two told, and it worried Umbridge, that she would begin preaching their words to the students - and that is exactly, was the ministry didn't want. Dolores couldn't find too much about her classroom, or teaching methods, to comment on. So, she mainly stuck to trying to convince the old lady, that Dumbledore and Harry were obviously suffering of some sort of mental disease, and all this nonsense about He who must not be named coming back, was the ramblings of two utterly confused men. Unfortunately for Mr.Potter, and Albus Dumbledore, these accusations had become wide-believed across the wizarding world. Various witnesses to the final tri-wizard tournament challenge, state that Harry had come back, bewildered and confused, clutching the dead body of Cedric Diggory, and then fighting with people who tried to help Harry. These witnesses were mostly Slytherins, and some students from the other schools, who spoke little english, and hadn't actually heard any of what Harry had said anyway. Dolores kept some of the most recent, and interesting of articles with her at all times, in case a discussion arose. Yes, they were tucked neatly in her pink burlap shoulder bag, along with the latest Ministry-approved Defense Against the Dark Arts textbook, and various Ministry documents.

Yet, the day had slowly come, and Dolores had already ranked most of the teachers in her mind, now it was time for the students. She had talked with the Minister via floo powder that morning, and it seemed that everything was perfect. She would make sure the Ministry's new views would be recited at the ceremony, and get to know the students as a body, a house, and as individuals. Mostly, her sights would be set on Harry Potter. If those articles were true, he could suddenly burst out in any kind of crazy gesture. If he proved to be a threat for students, something would have to be done. Umbridge had started getting ready and hour before call-time. Her brown, curly hair was checked for perfection, her favorite pink cardigan was smoothed, and matched perfectly to her skirt, shoes, stockings, earings, and necklace. Yes, it was perfect. With her, she had her pink handbag, hanging on her elbow, inside were notes about the Minister's ideas and plans for the school, along with a quill, some parchment, and of course her wand. If Harry Potter, Albus Dumbledore, or any of their supporters posed something, immediate action would take place. But, as she watched the students bustle into the common room, there was no noticeable action, in fact, they seemed to be rather well-behaved. Two tall, identical gryffindors made an entrance, shouting greetings to various students at other tables, and settling themselves near the front of the table. Surely, those were Arthur Weasley's twin sons she had heard about, and quickly made a mental note to keep a close eye on them. Various other student arrived, one dark hair slytherin girl took a seat at the slytherin table, two more gryffindors entered, one younger with light blond hair, the other - a boy - with a shade of dark brown. Another gryffindor girl entered, with brown hair, and also took a seat near the front of the table, and immediately found people to talk to. Another girl caught her eye - a ravenclaw, with a completely sullen, depressed look on her face. It was Cho Chang. Umbridge recognized her, from the time she had visited the Ministry, on business about Cedric Diggory. The poor girl.

The stream of student kept on coming, as pools of red, yellow, green, and blue separated to their individual tables. Then, a large group entered, and it was just the group Umbridge had been looking for. First was a gryffindor girl, with bushy hair, that would have made Umbridge cringe, were her eyes not already squinted, looking for one particular boy. Then, was another tall red head, followed close behind the girl, and who she assumed was Arthur's youngest son. Then were two girls, and a boy. One with bleach blond hair, and a completely airy look on her face, she skipped towards the ravenclaw table, while another redhead - Arthur's daughter - and a tall, clumsy brunette boy sat down with the previous two gryffindors. Then, there he was, Harry Potter. He had a somewhat frustrated look on his face, as he didn't even take a look around the great hall, but sat down with the group he had entered with. Murmuring throughout the students was easily noticed, as he sat down, and it was obvious as to what they were talking to. A loud laugh, companied with some high-pitched giggles, came from the Slytherin table on the other side of the hall. A boy with bleach blond hair, and a girl with darker hair, were cuddled together, after apparently hearing something very funny. The boy was Draco Malfoy, and the girl - she assumed - was Miss. Parkinson. She had heard about Draco's girlfriend, from the brief conversations she had, and over heard, during Draco's odd visits to the Ministry with his father. He was a charming boy, and seeing him, made Umbridge think, that perhaps not every student would be quite so ghastly, as the Weasley twins were proving to be, as they chatted loudly with new gryffindor first years.

Suddenly, a quiet filled the Great Hall, as Dolores watched Dumbledore rise, and begin to speak. She listened intently to his words, knowing the Minister would like to hear about everything the man said. The odd whoops and cheers came from the audience, embellishing Dumbledore's words. She heard her own name mentioned, and a smile rose on her face. Frantic murmurings rose from the crowd at that point, as she saw many eyes were on her. Dumbledore soon began again, and Umbridge took that chance, to rise gracefully from her seat. Perhaps some didn't notice, but Dumbledore stopped abruptly, as Dolores coughed.
"Hem, hem" The low buzz of whispers rose out of the crowd of students, as she rest of the teachers - aside from Dumbledore - stared at Umbridge, as if she had just committed a dreadful crime. These didn't stop her, as she coughed again, before continuing. "Thank you, Professor Dumbledore, for those warm words of welcome". Her voice was sweet, sickly sweet, the kind of sweet voice Dudley used on his aunt, when he was six, and he wanted candy. The Great Hall was quiet, and her tone seemed to echo in the vast hallway. "I am delighted to be back at Hogwarts once again, and seeing all of your happy, intelligent faces looking back at me, is most delightful" she continued, standing taller, as Dumbledore sat down. "I have been very much looking forward to this year, and I hope to get to know you all personally." Whispers and giggles broke out in the crowds again, as Umbridge cleared her throat again. "Hem, hem" She paused. "As I was saying- The minister of magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital importance. The rare gifts with which you are born with, may come to nothing, if not nurtured and honed by careful instruction. The ancient skills unique to the Wizarding community must be passed down through the generations, lest we lose them forever." Dolores paused again, looking down at the students with her sweet smile, before starting again, her voice remaining sweet and horrid, throughout her speech. "The treasure trove of magical knowledge amassed by out ancestors, must be guarded, replenished, and polished by those who have been called to the noble position of teaching."

Dolores took another pause here, to bow her head respectfully to her peer teachers. While some may have thought she was done, and began to whisper again, she was certainly not, and cleared her throat again, before continuing. "Hem, hem. Every headmaster and headmistress of Hogwarts has brought something new to the weighty task of governing this historic school, and that is how it should be, for without progress, there will be stagnation and decay. There again, progress for progress' stake, must be discouraged, for our tried and tested traditions - often require a little tinkering. A balance, then, between old and new, between permanence and change, between tradition, and innovation." Another pause. "Because some changes will be for the better, while other will come, in the fullness of time, to be recognized as errors of judgment. Meanwhile, some old habits will be retained, and rightly so, whereas others, outmoded and outworn, must be abandoned. Let us move forward, then, into a new era of openness, effectiveness, and accountability, intent on preserving what ought to be preserved, perfecting what needs to be perfected, and pruning wherever we find practices that ought to be prohibited."

Dolores seemed then, to be done, as she smiled as sweetly as ever - to the rest of the students, before bowing her head to Albus. "Thank you, Professor Dumbledore, do proceed" With that, she sat down, and took a large sip of water from her goblet, taking no mind, that the entire student body, teaching staff, and ghost was staring at her, as she watched Dumbledore intently, as he continued his speech. Umbridge remained perfectly calm, as she ran her eyes along the tables, again, her smile fading slight. Because really, in more ways than one - the school was perfectly 'Unperfected'.

ANDMi-ChanSTOLEYOURHEART!

        • • •Full Name: Mi-Na Chun

        • • •Year: Second Year

        • • •Age: 17

        • • •Gender: Female

        • • •Appearance: Take a Picture!! It will Last Longer

        • • •Personality:

        You Gotta Be Cool Mi-Na has a cool exterior. One could say she has pieces of steel impeded in her soul. Basically she's cold. Nothing surprises her and if it does you won’t caught an external reaction. Sometimes it can seem as she has no emotions at all but she’s far from a robot or fake. She just sees no reason to give too much away. Why expose yourself? It is important to have strict control over ones emotions. She has a low key, down to earth personality. She’s polite and well mannered to. She has a calm mysterious sort of allure. She strikes others as intense, as though she has something bubbling right below the surface if one could only reach it. And in truth, she dose always have something up her sleeve. She delivers in manners and decorum. She has been taught to act according to her station and dose so with ease and charm. She’s not afraid to use her looks when they benefit her. She knows she’s pretty and she knows how to use it to twist people around her finger. She’s a woman of few words, but what she says she feels is important. Long speeches and extraneous blathering accomplish nothing. One can say just as much in a sentence if the phrasing is thought out carefully. Of course this is also due to her language difficulties. Don’t expect to get more information than you absolutely need out of her. She is not here to explain things to you.

        You Gotta be Wiser Mi-Na is one sharp cookie. No doubt about it those eyes tell the story of keen intelligence. She sees the world with pure sheer logic. If you need critical thinking, or to have a puzzle solved she is the person to come to. She is a realist and sees the world as it is, sometimes hard, sometimes harsh, but all and all real. She’s very practical and in most things she has a lot of street smarts and basic common sense. Which we all know isn’t. Her life philosophy is strictly Machiavellian. Her ends justify her means. She’s willing to do just about anything as long as the outcome she is forcing comes to be a reality. Lie, cheat, steal, the works. Crafty and conniving she can almost come across as heartless at times but that isn’t necessarily true. She simply likes to play the game, and life is a game correct? Her meticulous nature has its own drawbacks. She can be a bit obsessive compulsive and is defiantly what would be considered a perfectionist. Things must be right, and they must go right. She’s a hard worker and it can easily be said that she’s a workaholic. School wise she does not have the grades top grades. She is far from the first in her class, but she doesn’t do too poorly. Mostly what holds her back is foreign language. It is hard to learn a language in another one that you’re not native in. But she gets by. In truth her studies are never really her top priority though she gets her homework done. Her father is indifferent to her grades and therefore so is Mi-Na. She’s a natural born leader and has no problems with telling others what to do. In fact she can be a bit bossy.

        You Gotta Laugh Despite the otherwise cold exterior Mi-Na has a relatively good sense of humor. In fact if she isn’t relating a pure fact or issuing an order she’s probably being sarcastic. Actually that is her major form of communication. She sees the ridiculousness of the things around her and can’t help but be internally amused by it all. Humans do rather ridiculous things don’t they? She might even chuckle from time to time. Basically Mi-Na finds humor in life itself. If she’s not doing things for her own advancement, she probably doing them for her own personal amusement. Dance my little minions Dance . She at times will go out of her way to force an outcome that holds nothing for her but perhaps the opportunity to laugh. She’s actually rather good natured about her own personal tragedies and will even laugh at herself if she is suddenly placed into an unforeseen embarrassing situation. One must keep ones sense of humor under all circumstances. Her sense of humor dose lean slightly to the dark side of the spectrum though one must admit and darker jokes are going to go farther with her than other types. If you can drag a smirk out of her she’ll defiantly appreciate it and your estimation in her mind will go up considerably.

        You Gotta be the Best In the end Mi-Na’s major goal in life is pleasing her father. She has to win. She has to accomplish her goals. It’s crucial to her survival in life. This makes her exceptionally competitive. She’s always willing to go the extra mile if it means getting one step closer to accomplishing her goals. Basically, she’s ambitious. She’s going to climb that ladder to the top if it’s the last thing she dose. Tenacity is her strong point. If she puts her mind to something she is not going to give up. Sometimes you just have to bite down and work harder. She’s going to put in that extra 110% percent. This of course at times blinds her to more important things in life, but life is about the game. It needs to be won! Who needs to stop and smell the flowers?

        You Gotta be a Lady Not only was Mi-Na raised to act like a perfect lady, she really dose believe in those values. Manners and decorum are important. Nothing will get you on her bad side quicker than if she believes you are rude. It is important to treat others with respect ESPECIALLY your elders. You will never see Mi-Na yelling at an adult in any situation. That’s simply not appropriate or expectable. She’s old fashioned in a lot of ways and understands how she is expected to act and dose so without questioning it. She obeys cultural and social norms. She knows the art of small talk well and is good at any social gathering where she is expected to make a good impression. This sort of upbringing comes with its drawbacks though. For obvious reasons she does tend to be a bit sexist just naturally and is more likely to listen to men’s opinions than women’s. In fact she holds her gender in slightly lower esteem in general due to her mother. Although this may seem unexpected and she hardly ever shows it, she can be easily intimidated by men, especially when they are yelling. She’ll shut her mouth and stare at her feet if someone of the opposite gender raises their voice to her. This is not true what so ever for women. But all and all this allows her to float around high society with ease. Good impressions are another important part of the game.

        Some Bad Traits.

        It seems the one emotion Mi-Na feels comfortable showing openly is anger. Though it’s difficult to do, set her off and she has a rather nasty, fiery temper. Unfortunately the more she cares about you the more likely you are going to find yourself under her wrath. This is a nasty little trait she picked up from her father and it seems to be how the two generally deal with extreme emotion. Though she’s rarely violent, these outbursts can involve harsh words, yelling and screaming, and the distinct possibility of throwing things. In fact this is the time when you are going to hear her speak the most. Long tirades in this state are not beneath her. Her accent will get more pronounced if she doesn’t simply give up on Japanese completely and simply start hurling curses at you in Korean. She’s a bit irrational in this state, so don’t take what she says too seriously. She’s out to hurt, not to win and can be incredibly cruel, but after it’s all over generally the words are half hearted. Actually it is very easy to calm her down from these little outbursts if you know what you’re doing. Basically simply point out how ridiculous she’s being and she’ll calm right down to her usual low affect self.

        Being so completely stoic has its draw backs. In truth Mi-Na is completely out of touch with her own emotions. If she likes you, she’ll probably be the last person to know it. Basically she not really comfortable telling people how she really feels. It not that she doesn’t have emotions it’s just that their rather deeply buried. I feel for anyone who gets into a relationship with her. You would have to really push her to ever say those three little words, and she’d rather do anything but talk about her emotions with you. Basically she’s very closed off in a lot of ways. This sometimes might make her act a bit strangely since she doesn’t really know how to handle what’s going on beneath the surface. She tries to solve her problems with pure logic but as we all know, it is difficult to keep other things out of the mix. She puts up a good effort though. She never really had a good role model for how to deal with what you feel in a healthy way.

        There is one major lapse in Mi-Na’s otherwise high intelligence. She has common sense by the truck loads in all but this particular area, her own personal safety. That’s right Mi-Na will do things she would never allow anyone else to do. Basically, she simply doesn’t think about it. She’s the type of person who would walk into a crumbling building if there was something on the third floor she needed, or walk down a dark deserted alley way at night if it was a short cut. Luckily up until this point nothing has happened to her, though if something did it would be completely her own fault. Someone should really stop her before she gets herself into a seriously bad situation. Perhaps one of these days she won’t be so lucky.

        - Heritage is very important to Mi-Na and so is Korea. It’s where she was born, it’s where she grew up, it’s where her ancestors are from and it’s a part of who she is. She misses home a great deal.
        - Nothing is more fun than curling up on the sofa with a blanket pulled up to your chin watching a good Horror Movie. Mi-Na will jump and scream every time the ghost pops out from some unseen corner. Perhaps it’s the complete break from reality, but Mi-Na loves being scared.
        - Mi-Na has an ego on her and nothing fires up her blood more than the scent of Competition. If you want a fight, you’re in for one. And the Host club is defiantly in for one.
        - On Mi-Na’s seventh birthday she was given a small black male Cat. She named the small creature Koyangee or Koykoy for short. (that means cat in Korean, she never was very creative). She loves it very much.
        - Mi-Na’s favorite subject in school is Math. The girl is like a walking talking calculator.
        - If you checked this girl’s Ipod, you’d find it’s dominated by classical music. Mi-Na loves to play her Violin. She’s no professional but she’s not too shabby. Her favorite composer is Vivaldi.
        - Nothing is more relaxing than a nice Hot Bath at the end of the day to wash away ones tensions and help one concentrate better on their own thoughts. Mi-Na believes no day is complete without one of these.
        - Everything looks better in the color Purple. From clothing to decorations everything looks better in this shade. Well at least as far as Mi-Na is concerned.

        • • •Dislikes:

        - The first thing on this list would defiantly have to be Dogs. Actually dislike is not a strong enough word. Terrified would be a much better one. She was accidentally attacked by a neighbors guard dogs at the age of five and a half. She still has a scar on her left hand from the incident.
        - Perhaps it was an over exposure to the things in childhood, perhaps it is the fact that every major event in her life as been associated with a ridiculously large cake. Regardless of the reason, somewhere along the lines Mi-Na lost her taste for Sweets.. But you don’t have to like something to sell it right?
        - We all have one subject in school that is the absolute bane of our existence. Mi-Na is no exception. She’d rather shoot herself in the head than do anything that involves Foreign Language. Heck, Japanese still gives her trouble from time to time.
        - There is a much longer explanation for Mi-Na’s dislike for Roses. But the short one is, that they're trite, overdone and cliché. Heck, there are many prettier flowers out there. A bit more creativity is appreciated.
        - A cardinal sin in Mi-Na’s book is Disloyalty. Especially to one’s family. It is completely irredeemable, she doesn’t care how tough your life was. In the real world we have to make sacrifices. So suck it up.
        - Something she simply won’t stand for are Bodyguards. In the world of Ouran these guys pop up for time to time and Mi-Na DETESTES them. She doesn’t like being followed or watched. She doesn’t need a babysitter, and ,most of all, she is perfectly capable of taking care of herself. Thank you very much.
        - A huge pet peeves of hers is Being Touched by strangers. Seriously, if she doesn’t know you hands off. She doesn’t know where you’ve been and she doesn’t want your germs.
        - I can’t take it anymore! You go to Ouran! How difficult can your life really be? I don’t want to hear anymore of your Whining! Seriously the quickest way to irritate her is to complain too much. Life sucks and then you die. Get used to it.

        • • •History of Character:
        Boy meets Girl, they fall and love and get married. That’s the way it works right? Well not always. Mi-Na’s parents married in the usual way for upper-class wealthy old fashion families. Their marriage was arranged. It was a crispy autumn day when Hyang-soon Chun took Chan-sook Kim to be his lawfully wedded wife. The two had hardily even met at the time of the marriage, but it made sense, at least in a business sense. The Chun's ran one of the largest upscale pastry businesses in all of Asia, and the Kim’s family had close ties to the sugar industry in the area, in fact they controlled a majority of the import and exports of the product to the country. In essences a perfect match, at least in that sense. Mr. Chun thought very little about the marriage. It simply was the way things were; besides having a wife was practical. He would need heirs and she would be able to provide them. He expected her to perform her stated duties. She would stay at home and raise his children; she would entertain when he needed to put on a show for business partners. He expected her to be the essence of the prefect business man’s wife, nothing more and nothing less. She was less happy with the match. Mi-Na’s mother had always been a bit of a romantic at heart and the arranged marriage dashed some of her school hood dreams. Her newly acquired husband was not only cold and distant, but he made it rather clear how he felt about her fanciful nature. He thought she was silly. And in truth she was. She had been born to a rich family and like many girls in that situation had been rather spoiled. She soon grew frustrated and bitter by the situation she found herself presently in.

        But regardless of the troubled partnership a year and four months after their marriage the couple gave birth to their first child. A daughter who was named Mi-Na. Mr. Chun could not help but be a bit disappointed. He had been hoping for a male child, but there would surely be more children to come so all and all one could say that he found the situation satisfactory if nothing else. Mi-Na’s mother was less happy with the situation. It seemed the woman never really had much of a maternal instinct and tended to leave the infant in the care of nannies a great deal of the time. This served only to urk Mi-Na’s father, considering he felt child care was one of the woman’s main responsibilities in life. The marriage became more and more turbulent as the months progressed, both being equally at fault. Mi-Na’s mother began a series of torrid affairs that Mr. Chun felt humiliated their family name and created a public skeptical. He was furious was often seen fighting with the woman verbally. The situation came to head, when her daughter was only six months old Mi-Na’s mother finally left completely and moved from the country with Mi-Na’s father’s own personal accountant. It was the last straw. He cut off ties with the woman entirely. It is not known whether she ever tried to contact her daughter. Not only would Mi-Na’s father not let such a thing happen but more importantly Mi-Na would have no personal interest in such a thing. In truth she has absolutely no memory of the woman. She was so young when she left how could she? But that is not to say this event has not affected her. She believes what her mother did to be the lowest of the low, as she was taught by her father. She believes disloyalty to one’s family is an irredeemable crime and in truth she harbors a great deal of anger and resentment about the whole thing. But these comments are better suited for the section on her personality so we shall move on.

        Let us take a moment to feel a bit sorry for Mi-Na’s father. Not only has he lost his wife, but now finds himself in the awkward position of having to raise a little girl all by himself. He had never really intended to have a great deal of personal involvement in the raising of his children. That was supposed to be his wife’s job. But truth be told he didn’t do such a bad job. For example, growing up Mi-Na spent very little time strictly under the care of nannies. Granted she had them of course, but she actually spent a lot of her childhood with her father. He would take the small girl to his office and allow her to entertain herself while he worked. She went to meetings and on business trips with him. He rarely left her behind, she ended up almost being the serious strict man's constant companion. In her youth Mi-Na idolized her father. Everything he was interested in she was too. When she grew up she was going to be just like him. A down side to this corporate upbringing was that Mi-Na found herself in the company old Korean business men a lot more often than she was with her peers. This caused her to become a rather serious and generally humorless child. But in general she was happy, as long as she was with her father. And in truth, under the harsh exterior her father loved her very much, more than he thought he was capable of.

        At the age of four the little girl with pig tails climbed into her father’s lap as the man sat looking over a few assorted business reports on a cool October day. She glanced at the papers tilting her head to the side slightly before finally speaking. ”What are you doing daddy?” she asked in a voice that rang with childlike innocence. A question we have all asked our parents. He looked down at the little girl and smiled slightly before looking back at the papers. ”I am running our families business.” he said thinking that would be the end of the conversation, as he began to again flip through the papers once more. ”Oh” she said nodding and looked at the papers too mimicking her father, as though she herself could interpret the spans of numbers and graphs. After a bit of a pause she finally spoke again, asking a question ever parent is familiar with ”Why?” she said looking up at the man. Mi-Na’s father chuckled and patted her on the top of her head. ”Because it is a man’s job to make sure he provides for his family financially and to make sure that their name is held with distinction and honor for future generations.” Mi-Na nodded ”Oh” she said again. This time the little girl was lost in thought a moment. She crinkled up her brow with the effort. Her father didn’t seem to notice he was again lost in the sheets of paper believing the conversation had come to its natural end. ”Daddy…” the girl said again quite suddenly. Mi-Na’s father blinked a bit surprised, ”Yes Mi-Na?” he said looking down at the small girl in his lap. ”What is a woman’s job?” He stared at the girl for a moment before quickly diverting his eyes. There was a long pause before he finally answered. His voice serious and distant, ”To give birth to sons.” he said simply before going back to work, this time for good. It was at this exact moment that Mi-Na decided that everything would have been a good deal simpler if she had simply been born a boy.

        Mi-Na’s early schooling was quite similar to her peers. She went to an upscale school in Seoul that bore a resemblance to Ouran. It was where the rich sent their children to learn their Alphabet and Arithmetic. As a young child she was eerily well behaved and rarely did anything wrong. She brought home relatively good grades and got along with most of her teachers. She was not quite used to interacting with kids her own age but all and all she didn’t do too badly. She was smart and rather pretty and the other children tended to get along with her though they were rarely very close. One could say her first real friend was a little boy named Kwan Park. She met Kwan in the spring semester of sixth grade and it was apparent to everyone around that this boy was nothing but trouble. Kwan’s family ran the largest publishing company in South Korea but the wild child had very little interest in the ‘family business’ a trait Mi-Na always scolded him for. The two became inseparable throughout middle school and the beginning of high school. Together with an assorted group of other friends Mi-Na began the process of ‘loosening up’ as Kawn put it. Gone were the days where she never did anything that could be remotely considered rebellion. She stayed out late, went clubbing, and did all sorts of other unseemly things that seem completely uncharacteristic of this generally overly serious girl up until this point. Perhaps that was part of it, we all need rebellion. It was obvious to anyone around the two that Kawn was madly in love with this dark haired beauty but she never saw it. And truth be told she would never be able to see Kawn as more than a friend, but it was during this time period that she picked up a few unseemly habits. Her father knew little to nothing of his daughters more exciting ‘night life’ and Mi-Na worked hard to keep it that way but the man wasn’t completely oblivious to his daughter’s antics. He hated Kawn and was not subtle about showing it. Finally, after a rather public incident (That doesn’t need to be discussed here, but suffice it to say it was 25% her father overacting and 75% a very bad idea on Kawn’s part.) he barred his daughter from ever seeing the boy again. A command which Mi-Na, of course, completely ignored. But then again, at times, what her father doesn’t know about her life could fill bookshelves.

        The summer before her junior year of High School Mi-Na’s father informed his daughter that they would be moving to Japan. Mi-Na was shocked. She had never moved before in her entire life. She had lived in the same house since she was born and besides, she couldn’t even speak Japanese. Her father seemed to have that part covered at least; he immediately got Mi-Na a tutor to help her learn the language at break neck speed. But when it comes to foreign languages Mi-Na is more of a turtle that a hare and even with hours a day of private tutoring she struggled. The truth of the matter is Mi-Na still has trouble with the language and when angered or flustered her ability to speak it drops off sharply. Kawn was devastated by the news. ”You’re going to hate it there” he assured her and Mi-Na feared she would. She had absolutely no reason to believe otherwise. But regardless before the start of her second year in high school the Chun family shipped out and moved to Japan. When they got there Mi-Na’s father had a choice. Either send his daughter to the prestigious Ouran University or the all girl Lobidia Academy. In an attempt to stop history from repeating itself he decided immediately on the all girl school. Mi-Na was a bit disappointed. She had always gotten along with boys slightly better and an all girl school was going to be a bit more of a challenge. But off she went. But after their first visit to the actual campus Mi-Na’s father decided this was certainly not the place for his daughter. So feeling quite pulled to and fro, Mi-Na entered Ouran.

        Year: Third year

        Age: ¡Dieciséis, a usted señor! { Sixteen, to you sir! }

        Gender: Female

        Appearance: Her appearance is that of a swan. She has a hidden beauty, only those who grateful enough to see, are able to see. Her hair is cut (on the top) like a bit of a boyish cut, but after that cut, its flowing light blonde hair. Its just a beauitful cut, and desired cut she wanted since she was a little girl. Her best friend had it, and she thought it was a really nice cut. Now, her eyes of that of a lime green, mixed with a dark green. Just a beauitful sense of eyes, like that of gems. Just beauitful eyes, and there hidden sometimes. Her bangs sometimes cover her eyes, from the outside world. She has a fair skin, and burns really easy, if she is caught in the sun too long. Her cheeks naturally flush, and could blush with ease. Her hands and fingers are very petite, and also fragile. The lightest cut, could wound her easily. Her body is a bit athletic and is always doing something with sports. Her legs are very muscular, and very well toned. She is about Five feet, and six inches. She was always a bit shorter then her parents, but she is still growing. But, her figure is petite, so maybe she might grow one more inch, and that about it. Her weight is something, she personally doesn't like to talk about. But, she does weigh, about, one hundred thirty-five.

        Personality: Her personality is very well, shy. You could say, she would be in the back of a class room, and wont say a word, unless it was to ask or answer a question. She has a bit of an outgoing side, but that is only towards her friends, and her family. She is a kind-hearted person, and will never try to cause conflict. She always wants to be liked by her peers, and be with people that like her. Never with someone that hates her, and says means things. She is very honest, and will never tell a lie. When she began to lie, she begins to turn a bright red, that is not of her natural flush, and began to babble. She will always tell you what exactly happened, and who did what. She is protective of her friends, and sometimes because the mommy out of the group. She is always telling them things, for the own good, and not to punish them. Her advice is always great, especially when it comes to boys. You could say, shes your little cupid, but the truth is, she is just using logic. Sometimes, she wishes she would go for advice about boys, to her friends; instead the other way around.

        History of Character:

        { Her childhood... }

        Born on June fifth, a beauitful little blonde baby was born. She was the miracle of Akira and Koji Chiba. They began to think of names, and they come up with a little bit of an American name, but it fit her perfectly; Karina Kira Chiba. It was a perfect match, and it was just a cute match. Her mother loved the name, and her father was a bit skeptical but, he liked it the day after. Her childhood was always a good one. Her family was always with boys, and hardly any girls. About maybe, five the most. And the other ten, where boys. It was quite the surprise, that she was the other girl, instead of boy. They thought her parents were going to have a boy, to keep the family name, but this little pop out. Ever since she was born, everything was just in place. She was always the little girl out of the family, and always smiling, giggling, and slapping her father. She was playing of course. Her father would take an offense, but then laugh about it. She was the little pocketful of sunshine, that her parents were missing in her life. She was the only child, and she was being spoiled, as a child. She would want something, her parents would get it for her. Of course, they had the money. About five, her mother enrolled her into private school and ever since then, she has been in private school since. Growing up with other rich kids, wasn't easy let me tell you. They were little terrors, and spoiled brats. She was just your little spoiled girl, but she wouldn't cry. Well, sometimes. If it was something yummy, and good, then maybe. But other then that, no. She was the little one, that would be sitting in the middle of the circle, and playing with building blocks all nice and happy, and things would be peaceful around her. Everyone was pretty surprised, because her mother is a bit of a hot head, and her dad is a cucumber. Calm and collective verse aggressive and temper crazy. She got her father personality, and her mothers instincts. She was the only one in the class, that wouldn't speak out loud, and when she would, she would cry. She was always shy to speak, but around her family, she was a freaking chatter box. Maybe it depends on your surrounds.

        { Growing up, and Teenage years.. }

        Growing up wasn't always the simple little thing. She was being to under mind her parents. I mean, every child does when they start to grow up. She thought she was cool, not eating her veggies or going out with her uncles, when her parents said 'no'. She just wanted to have fun, and just be outside of the house. Her parents began to fight, and sometimes things would get bad. No, not to the point of hitting, just really bad yelling. They would fight over the littlest things, but sometimes they would make them a big deal. Or sometimes they would fight about her. About how she was rebelling, or sometimes acting little a spoiled little girl. She was only ten at the time, and sometimes she would always blame herself for them fighting. One day, her parents began to argue, when she had enough. She wasn't going to stand them fighting, and began to sing a light tune. Her tears were streaming down her eyes, down her cheeks, and onto her nice clothes; but she didn't care. She began to sing, and within two minutes (or what seemed like forever) they slowly stopped screaming, and just listened to the little girl singing. It was just amazing how a girl at the age of ten, could stop two adults who about in there early thirties. Her voice was such an angelic voice, it just made them stop without even thinking. Just the sound of her voice, was just beauitful. When she stopped, she looked at them, and she told them what was needed to be said. After that day, everything has been good. No more fighting, arguing, or even the slightest bit of tension. Her voice was enough to calm the wall, and making everything right in the universe (the house, really) and just back to normal. The family has been spending more and more time with each other. Just being together was just a good moment to do, and she loved every minute of it. Her little 'puberty' state, came around maybe twelve. And it was just..a surprise to everyone. She was a bit earlier then expected, but she turned into a proud and beauitful women. Her teenage years were always good. She was getting to notice boys, going out with friends to the mall, and just having a good time. She was just a normal teenager, and she was happy. As she grew up, she was becoming more and more shy, towards boys, and even her class mates. That was never like her, as she was little, but hey; people change. And sometimes, its for the better. Her shyness, but her will towards music, has granted her friends and well good people in her life. That is good enough for her. And, she was the only one in her family to speak Spanish. She picked it up in school, and she was very happy indeed. She was speaking now, two languages. She was always going to teach her parents, and friends something new.

        { The present.. }

        Right now, shes is basically you little musician. She is always in the music room, either singing, or doing her violin. She is a great violinist, and she always puts her heart and soul into her music. Music is basically her life, and without out, shes pretty much nothing. All her life, she was always trying to find her one thing. That one thing she is good at, and she found it. She is good with music, and she is very happy with it. Music makes her happy, but doesn't everything? Currently, her grandmother live with her at the moment. She is a bit under the weather, and Kiki is taking care of her. She was always good deed one, and everyone loved that about her. She would give up her free time, to help her mom at work, or help her dad with the company math. You guessed it. She is good at math, but sometimes she would get stuck, and it would kinda annoy her. But, she was going to try her best, in whatever she does. Before she entered Ouran, she was going to a different private school called, Lady of the Future, or LF. She has been there since ninth grade year, up to the beginning of the school year this year. Her father wanted to transfer her, because the company was giving him good comments about this school. She was kinda sad about leaving, because she made wonderful friends, and she was going to miss them terribly. But, maybe, this new high school had something to offer her. She was going to be really excited if they had anything to do with music, like if they had music rooms, or even sound prof rooms, so everyone was able to listen to there own music; instead classing with someone else music. She wanted to still have her free time, in the music room, and to practice. Two weeks later, she was on the campus of her new school. She was pretty shocked. Everything was totally different then what she thought, and here she was. She was kinda happy, sort of speak. She was going to try, big word, try be more opened minded. Or at least, tend to be less shy. Her life was going to take a bit of a turn, in this school. Ouran high school.

        Social Status: Karina, is a bit of a rich girl. But, she doesn't show it. She always can have anything she wants, but she rather work for it. So basically, wealthy. Upper middle class.

        Parent's jobs:
        Akira [Mother]: Her mother is a teacher, for public school. She is always helpingt hem after school, and does tutoring at the house.
        Koji [Father]: He is a CEO of a Shop and drop. Its a major shop here, and he had to work his way to the top.

        School Status: She is a shy girl, that could sit in the back, and you wouldn't notice her. Through her music, she has met many friends, but all of them go to different schools, and places.

        Crush: She isn't sure, and she doesn't really know yet..
        ---
        Are you familiar with the Ouran Series?: Yes, ma'am. I've watched it, and i wrote some fan fics about it.

Yes, they're extremely selfish … They don't even see their selfish-ness. Whenever having to hear criticism or being reprimanded, whatever the person's saying doesn't even reach their ears. At school, they shift their attention a lot and barely listen to the teacher. They do, of course, sometimes listen and miraculously even gets into the top ten of the class. Stock knowledge, mostly gets them. There are, of course, certain subjects that interest them wherein they actually listen, take down notes, participate. When they do, it does sometimes get annoying with their numerous intelligent questions, some finding it rather arrogant but then again, the two had always been arrogant to begin with.

        Yes, arrogant. Like said before, they barely listen to anyone reprimanding them … Also, they talk back if it's not their parents. Then again, they talk back to their parents at times, too, their stubborn side showing. They're quite egoistical as well, preferring to back their own opinions rather than have it be left in the dust … Or be overpowered by another person's opinion, ultimately losing the argument. They hate losing. Even arguments. Terribly stubborn those two are and it would be a danger if one gets on their bad side which is extremely easy to get on. When they despise someone, they despise someone and will make that person's life a living hell. They bear grudges which doesn't filter away easily. With their loud-mouthed-ness, athletic skills [mostly by Keiji], plots [mostly by Kira] and all in all evil mind [mostly inspired by villains in certain anime/manga], the two could easily achieve their goal … Which is on making themselves content by making someone else depressed. Mean, yes but do they care? No. They never care about what someone thinks about them. They believe in showing someone who they really are rather than pretending to be nice and make friends. Of course, they're not all that mean that they don't have friends. They even have the same friends, being together 24/7, rarely being seen apart. These friends, however, are merely people they find 'nice' yet won't really treat them as best friends. Heck, they never even had 'best friends'. Just people they hang around with, seeing they're completely content with just having the other twin.

        They're never afraid to get in trouble. They practically don't care if they do. They don't even find it embarrassing… Then again, the two are rarely embarrassed. Outgoing, yes and it's quite hard to find their embarrassing spot. Once found, however, it's very easy to poke it and make fun of them, getting them embarrassed [and pretty angry], fleeing from the scene. The subject? Love. The two have petty crushes, though not much, their personalities quickly changing from an outgoing person to someone extremely shy. They become soft-spoken, a light blush on their cheeks yet they do show this soft spot differently. Kai's actually more shy than Kira is, stuttering much in front of the person. Kira, on the other hand, always has an extremely distinct blush on her face, refusing to show her embarrassment. Kira is usually nicer than Kai yet for some reason, when embarrassed, Keiji becomes the nicer person. Yes. Switched.

        s|a|r|c|a|s|t|i|c & s|t|u|b|b|o|r|n
        oh, yes. we're very humble beings.

        Like said earlier, the two are extremely stubborn not to mention argumentative. They will never – repeat – never back down from a fight. They will speak their opinions regardless they be wrong or not. They will find something – anything – to actually prove they're right. If unable to do so, they'll make you go in circles enough to get you confused. The two aren't the smartest people around, they just sound like it. Just as looks fool so do words or specifically, the Lexion's words. Pretty fine lawyers they'd make in the future yet the two never did care much about their future. More than likely, they'd open up a company dedicated to making video games, anime or manga or something along those lines. They don't really care much. They aren't ambitious despite their outrageous dreams such as time traveling, meeting other beings from other worlds, creating their very own Chobit or some type of AI close – extremely close – to a human being. But alas, they're lazy. Too lazy for their own good. That or they procrastinate or even do it slowly … Too slowly.

        They're quite creative, though. A gazillion things pop up in their heads everyday, some of those being worked on for long periods of time by the two, others being combined and talked about for merely a day and the rest scrapped. When in planning mode, they're extremely excited, talking nonstop about the topic for very long, seeing the flaws and fixing it, their ideas coming out on after the other. Oh, yes, when they brainstorm, they brainstorm. Only problem is there are times when they can't seem to keep their attention on it for long. Their attention span is very short, barely anything can keep it. However, if they really like one thing [say video games] they'll play nonstop, pausing just to eat [and that's if they feel like eating]. Sometimes, a book could easily keep them interested yet that's only if the subject interests them a lot, said subject mostly fantasy or the supernatural. Yes, those two interest them a lot. They love fantasy, they love stories, they love to make them up. Sadly, they can't draw for heck but does that stop them? No. They keep getting absorbed and absorbed, finding their drawing skills good enough to be understood [when it's far from it]. Oh, they're superstitious, believing in ghosts and the like. The problem with them getting absorbed, however, is that they fail to see what's around them and [like said before] completely miss eating.

        When they do refuse to eat, servants have to come and bring them their food, the two too absorbed to even touch it. They're forced sometimes, though, yet not easily. They will keep complaining, whining to the point of annoying, and be downright mean. Yes, it's very hard to keep these two happy or even do something. Their stubbornness could easily get someone annoyed. Very annoyed.

        b|i|a|s|e|d & s|u|p|p|o|r|t|i|v|e
        we're twins and got to look out for each other, eh?

        Extremely biased the two are. If the other gets in trouble, the other supports the other, making up things as they go. They're creative, yes, extremely creative. They can easily take out a reason, mix it up, go with the other's story, eventually getting themselves out of a certain mess. It's as if they read each other's mind even! Then again, it's kind of expected. Having to live with the other your entire life – or six minutes without in Keiji's case though that doesn't really count – they know each other extremely well from their lucky number to their worst memory. They relay everything that happens to each other … That is, unless the other wasn't there. If the other was there, they'd love to talk about it again and again … For a few minutes. Then they'd retreat to being bored, look around, do something and get in trouble once again.

        Funny thing is, even though they're extremely supportive, they quarrel way too much about little things. If Keiji just steals even one piece of meat, Kira would immediately complain, going exaggerated, saying he stole a gazillion amount of food, Keiji trying to justify himself. Of course, both of them gets in trouble either way for fighting. Ah, yes, they get fights almost every single day… And magically patch up the day after without a word of sorry. Big fights had come, however and it was scary and just … queer. During big fights [ which happened only around three times as far as they could count ], the two would hang out in school with other friends, eat alone, threaten to tell the more dangerous secrets of each which they've never even done seeing the other also held the secrets of the twin. Another distinct feature would be the constant bashing, displayed by talking loudly and letting the other hear what they have to say which was indirectly stated at the other, causing more fights and more quarrelling. It doesn't necessarily last long. The longest 'big fight' they probably had was for two and a half days. After that, they suddenly started getting along, none admitting fault and both preferring it that way. They don't admit it, but they do miss their twin when the other's gone. It's what happens when you've stuck with each other your entire life.

        c|o|n|t|r|a|s|t|i|n|g & b|a|l|a|n|c|e|d
        what one doesn't have, the other makes up for it.

        First impression: similar. Extremely similar. From their appearance to their personality, a person who only talked to them once or twice would find them similar. Too similar even. For those who do know them, they've found out they're different that they hold a lot of different traits. The most distinct trait that separates the two are their kindness, Kira is nicer [yet that's not saying much] and Keiji's meaner. See, if they accidentally bump into someone, Kira's the type that would say sorry while Keiji's the type that would go all 'Oi! Watch where you're going!" When someone spills a jug of water on Kira's clothes, Kira's the type that would complain in front of them but dismiss it a little while later while Keijis the type that would go on and on complaining, completely ridding the fact he could easily be heard by a million people.

        Then again, it all depends on the situation at hand. Kira's nicer, sure, but she's a lot more temperamental when it comes to bigger things. Say, grades. If hers lower even a little bit, she'd completely get moody for the entire day. Her computer not working? Moody. When she's moody, she refuses to talk to anyone. Anyone. Well, except Keiji, who pretty much takes in all her rants and complaints … Sometimes poking fun at her and getting her even more pissed than she already is. Keiji, on the other hand, when in depressed mode is not at all loud. Actually, he's more silent. He'll avoid everyone – and I mean everyone even Kira – like the plague, sleeping most of the time, quite hard to cheer up … Unless hit with the thickest book.

        Now, they aren't just different when in certain moods. They're just … normally different. They find it weird how people can confuse them with each other. Kira's pretty much the more hard-working of the two, being the younger one she'd been used to having things pushed towards her… Though she does push at least some of the work needed to be done back to Keiji. Keiji's much more laid-back and much more lazy [both are lazy either way]. He'd much rather lie around like an idiot, bored and complaining about the cold. Yes, the cold. He's allergic to it whilst Kira's allergic to heat. Not exactly normal cold but just one of those really cold/hot places. They start sneezing. Everywhere. Fun to look at, though.

        • • •History of Character:

        It wasn't too unexpected. After all, judging from the ultrasound, the woman did indeed have to babies inside her. As soon as they popped out, one after the other within a six-minute span, crying, bald and small, it was completely obvious they were twins. Twins that seemed to be identical as they did look similar though one was a boy and the other a girl. The two smiled. The father, a man in his forties that was indeed Japanese and their mother, a beautiful woman with long, wavy brown hair that had a touch of French in her. It was only during their early years in life that they could see the two, smiling down on them, laughing.

        And then they got busy. They were too busy to even pay attention to the two. Living in a large mansion situated in Osaka, Japan, they were home-schooled, barely going outside. They knew little of the many children being brought to their home during parties, being anti-social towards them as they found them a little ... annoying perhaps? Weird? Not exactly. They were just scared .Scared they might be separated. After living alone only with servants, the two were close to one another, extremely close in fact that they refused to talk to anyone else, finding the others ridiculous and stupid. Idiots. They weren't even mature enough to say/think that.

        It was during their early teens that they were sent to school. At first, they were completely anti-social, refusing to talk to anyone in school rather than their other half. Many did try to talk to them yet they kept their distance, insulting the persons going near them so that they would go and walk away, far far away from them. They didn't mind the number of people who talked behind their back. Like they cared. They were just another couple of idiots meddling with their lives.

        Then came Kira's asthma attacks. Keiji was worried, of course. Extremely worried. She would have consistent asthma attacks and when they thought she was alright, she would have them again, absent in school for the entire day. Keiji kept his distance most of the time yet at that time, he really did need to have someone to talk to, didn't he? Though he was annoyed at the people asking, he couldn't help but open up to some of them. That was when he met Shin, the one person who actually accompanied Keiji the entire time Kira was in the hospital. Kira, back from her stay there, was introduced to Shin, who actually started to hang around with the two. For once, they didn't have any thoughts as to why this person was meddling with them or if he wanted to take the other away. It was fine. Until they moved to Tokyo.

        Tokyo was where their parents' business took off. It was where they moved their main branch and it was where the twins moved. They were sad. Extremely sad. Just after their first year in high school and they were to move? Move where? Tokyo! Tokyo of all places! The twins hated the noise and the number of other things in Tokyo. They didn't want to move. They didn't want to adjust to another place. They were fine in Osaka.

        But their parents wouldn't hear of it. In no time at all they were moved to Tokyo, Shin sad as well. His family's main branch was in Osaka and there was no way they could move. How annoying. How very annoying. Then they had to adjust to another school. Ouran Private Academy. While they didn't particularly hate it - in fact, they actually liked it there... Minus the dreadful uniform Kira had grown to hate - they still wanted Osaka. They still wanted Shin. They wanted to go home.

        But, as said earlier, they weren't allowed to. They had changed, though and that was a good thing. They were actually being nice [though it couldn't be called nice but in comparison to who they were before, it was a nice change]. They were slightly popular, what with their loudness as well as being 'the transferees'. Yes. It hasn't even been two months that they were pushed inside Ouran. Nothing money couldn't do.

            She was restless, waiting for the rest of the world to get up. No, not the rest of the world. Half the world was already up. She was waiting for anyone in the Chesire home to stir. She would like to say she was up because as they say, the early bird gets the worm. But then that would be a lie. That phrase always seemed a bit ridiculous to her anyway as people rarely paused to think about the poor worm that had decided to rise early. What if she were the worm instead of the bird? Adéle was up simply because she was restless. Sleep was becoming difficult for her to find. What could possibly be the reason for her inability to sleep? The cause could not be anticipation of any sort as the excitement of coming to America and seeing her best friend had died down a bit in the past few days although she was still delighted to be in the foreign country. And she wasn’t so excited about meeting the rest of the Chesire family and friends that she would lose sleep over it. Sure, Daphne’s college friend was scheduled to arrive that day, later in the afternoon, but as intrigued as she was, it wasn’t enough for her to lose beauty sleep on. She was not restless in anticipation for anything for she rarely ever lost sleep over such things.

            No, all of that was folly. She was restless because her body and mind would not adjust to the new time zone. It was five in the morning (eleven AM in France) and she was the only soul (at least to her knowledge) who had dared to awaken before the sun was fully up. At this time back in France, she would have normally already been up and about. Even so, it was true that Adéle traveled often and should have been able to adjust to a new sleeping pattern. However, more often than not, she stayed in the same time zone or one similar to it as she went from country to country inside of Europe. Despite the fact that she had flown over the Atlantic Ocean, she was quite frustrated with her lack of adjustment to time. It had been nearly a week yet she could not get rid of the jetlag that forced her body to awaken at such an early hour. Even when she had visited Australia with her family in the past year, it had taken only a couple days, three at the most to fix her sleeping pattern. Yet this time around, she had difficulty adapting as in the late afternoons her body became easily overcome with exhaustion. She would sleep earlier than the rest, causing her to wake far too early.
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

            At first, Adéle refused to accept that her body was fully rested and ready to emerge from the queen-sized bed. Blue eyes had fluttered open to the sight of darkness and then shut again tightly. She pulled the warm covers over herself in attempt to hide from the world and the creeping sun that was slowly finding its way through her window. Once Adéle woke up, it was impossible for her to fall back asleep yet she still would not accept the fact that her body had awakened. After a long moment of laying there in stillness, she gave into Fate. She tossed the white sheets aside completely and sat up, greeting the rushing cold head-on. It would only frustrate her more if she laid down in utter silence thinking about how she couldn’t sleep. She slipped out from her bed, her feet hesitating a moment at the cold wooden floor below. They tapped cautiously against the floor before fully resting on it, giving up on finding a warm spot that didn’t exist. Led by her feet, she walked light-footed across her room and to her closet.

            She had brought a large portion of her wardrobe from her home despite her plans on doing plenty of shopping in the US. It was her duty to show that the French knew how to dress to impress. Not just arbitrarily wearing designer, but knowing which designer clothes accentuated certain features and which did not. It was instilled in her brain as a child that appearance was very important and she didn’t pause to think of why it was so necessary. The walk-in closet was amazing and almost too big for her to fill up. Almost. Flicking on a light switch, she gazed at her large selection and chose a simple white sundress. Hot summer days left her without the will to dress up too much and the simple dress was perfect for the weather. Although it was a bit chilly currently, once the sun had risen, there would be no need for jackets or sweaters of any kind so she didn’t bother herself with taking one out.

            Adéle emerged out from the closet after flicking off the light and shut the door carefully behind her as she exited her room. She didn’t make a sound, aside from a soft padded sound as her feet lightly made their way across the hallway and into the bathroom. A warm shower would be a nice way to calm her agitation over her lack of sleep. Her mind wandered as she took her shower over various things. The early mornings and the late nights were when her mind worked the best, clearing out thoughts that ran through her head throughout the course of the day. Her mind wandered to thoughts of a certain cousin of the Chesire estate who had arrived the same day as she had. Adéle had noticed him hanging by herself and Daphne quite often and couldn’t help but be smitten by the handsome man. It was strange really for someone to stir such feelings in her so quickly. She hardly knew him, but she couldn’t help but hope that he would continue his usual tagging-along today as well. Her mind wandered again with no particular direction and ideas began to form in her mind for her writing.

            Suddenly inspired, she quickly ended her shower and stepped out. She quickly began to dry off her body and after slipping into her dress, combed her hair with a large brush. After wiping off the steam from the mirror with a towel and finding her appearance acceptable, she emerged from the steamy bathroom and headed off in the same quiet manner back to her room. She shuffled through the desk that was placed in the guest room for her. She had brought with her several notebooks along with envelopes and stamps. She had friends back home to write to while she stayed here, but this morning would not be used for such purposes. She grabbed a small notebook and shut the drawer as she opened it. It was almost completely filled with a few pages left at the end waiting for a new inspiration to express itself in writing. She pulled a pencil out from the top drawer and began scribbling away, her mind completely consumed. Time passed and voices were heard throughout the hallways as the maids emerged. However, Adéle’s usually attentive ears had shut as she continued. Her hand was cramping, but she continued writing, scratching many words out, pausing to think, then writing some more.

            Then a sudden breeze blew in through her open window and shifted the pages. She paused to look out, seeing the sun high. With a small smile, she shut her notebook and placed it away in her desk. It wasn’t too horrible waking up early in the morning. Adéle walked over to the window and stared out at the beautiful garden below. She noticed the gardener tending to his flowers in silence as usual and a few maids poking their heads out for a moment. After leaning out, basking in the hot sun and enjoying the cool breeze, she pushed herself back inside. With quick feet, she walked out of her room and down the stairs. Reaching the second floor, her pace did not slow as she made her way to Daphne’s room. With a small, polite knock on the door, she opened the door slightly, peeking inside as she spoke.Ma chérie, dormez vous? The sun is already up,” she stated simply. The day was beautiful and she no longer had the patience to sit still at her desk. What would happen today was a mystery. But she did not want to waste a moment of her summer days at the Chesire estate.

        • • •History of Character: Asiya was born in a very wealth family, along side her twin brother Sai of course. The two were very close growing up, however Sai was known as the prodigy child. At the age of 10 her had almost mastered the Guitar, and not to mention his great ability to help other people mentally. Asiya was more of his shadow than anything. This caused her to become jealous of her brother. They may have looked alike, in many eyes of other people. Their difference was only their gender. As time passed Asiya grew angry with her brother, it seemed no matter how hard she tried or where they went people barley acknowledged her existence. When Asiya was the age of 14 tragedy struck for the family.

        Asiya finally got into a fight with her brother, she proclaimed that she hated him and his existence and whished he would have been dead. As it turned out She had gotten her wish. It happened the night after during the cultural festival. Firework lit the sky as she said these things to her brother and ran off into an alley way where three thugs resided. After what seemed hours her brother who came to her rescue was brutally murdered in front of her, thus fell the rain. After that she went into a great stage of despair and her phobia for rain began. After that every time it would rain she would break down and began to throw things violently to drown out the sound. Her mother soon went crazy and began to blame Asiya for the things that happened. Asiya soon lost herself, she became her brother.

        She taped her breasts down, tied her hair back and perfected the sound of his voice, personality, and intelligence. Not soon after she had received a letter to her brother, it was a letter of acceptance to Ouran High. As far as the story goes, people believe that she was killed that night and that Sai had lived to see the next day. But how long can she and her father fool society of her brothers death?

        Are you familiar with the Ouran Series?: Yes, I have seen all the episodes of the anime and read almost all of the manga.

        RP sample: Belles rang loudly throughout the house, cracking every single cell in the ear drum to those who went near them. The noise started in a well furnished living, or gathering room. Two people sat on a cloud of heaven, the cushions where fit to every person as they sat down onto the vibrant green couch. Of course along with this couch were similar recliners throughout the large room. In the front of the room was a vary large screen that had pixilated pictures of a large bell, being shown from town square. It was as loud as one could turn it up to, thus where the agonizing belles came from. The carpet was paper white, and one spill, or slight notification of dirt would take away it clean beauty. There were two windows in the room each had light pastel green drapes hovering just slightly above the ground. In many areas of the room where different vases and arranged flowers sat in every single one, although they weren’t real they seemed to be treated as if the were. The walls themselves were painted white, to match the carpet. the two men on the couch laughed and carried on as the morning went by, They seemed to be in their mid twenties and where used to the beverage they held in their hand called alcohol. One had golden eyes which skimmed the room only quick enough to notice the time.

        His burnt brown hair fell over his eyes as he sighed. “time to wake up the daughter.” He said standing. He wore a very expensive looking business suit, it was black with thin white strips running down the soft polyester fabric. The sleeves where long and had cuffs at the end of each with a white button holding them together. His slacks however where slightly wrinkled from him taking time to relax on his couch, thus showing a glimpse of his ankle high black socks. He drug his feet over to the phone and dialed a number, the phone looked rather old and what would look like a very well treasured antique. The phone rang a few times before a voice answer on the other line. It normally was a soft soothing voice, however the voice that spoke was rather horse from awaking just then. “hello?” The voice called through the phone. The man smiled and replied. “Dear you need to get up, school starts soon, it your first day, you don‘t want to be late, do you“ He asked. The person on the other side didn’t answer for some time, after a few seconds it replied rather irritated. “yes father, I’m getting up..” The phone clicked and began to beep rather obnoxiously showing that the line was cut off, or someone had hung up, thus cutting off signal. The man sighed and walked back to the couch in a slouched manner he sat down. “I swear.. teens” He spoke taking a drink. The man next to him was a family friend, he just snickered and stared at the upset father next to him with his midnight eyes. “oh come on Hideki, she’ll get over her. .well. .cross dressing stage I’m sure.” He replied knowing that the man named Hideki was upset about his cross dressing daughter. He looked up at his friend who was dressed identical to him, the only difference was that he wore white socks, and his hair was black like his eyes. He slapped Hideki on the back. “yeah, Wife says it’s a psychological thing, “ he said drinking his beverage. Hideki smiled, nodding hoping his friend was right.

        The covers moved slowly up into the air, signifying that someone was underneath them. Soon porcelain skin could be seen merging from the red wine comforter. The figure soon came into view as a younger teenage girl, her slender pale fingers pulled the edges of the covers forcing it off her head and onto the bed. She sighed as light beamed through her thick blinds. Her mysterious aureate eyes stared mindlessly around the rather empty looking room. She soon stood up making her way out of bed. Her feet touched the floor ever so delicately as she walked toward her mirror. Her long purple hair lay on her slender porcelain shoulder. The girl grunted and picked up a pony tail. She grabbed her long soft strands of hair and tied them back behind her sensitive neck. She then Grabbed a rather strange looking role of white cloth that sat on her dresser, after taking of her night shirt, which was a blood red tank top, she quickly wrapped the roll around her breasts until the were as flat as a board. This did look rather painful but she wouldn’t seem to care, that is because she happened to do it everyday before leaving her home. She then hooked the last strap of cloth to a bottom layer, after patting it a few times she place the role back on the dresser and walked to her closet. There , hung a boys school uniform. It was a polyester blue jacket top with long sleeves indicating it was the fall uniform.

        The tee-shirt that goes underneath the jacket was white, rather large in size as well. The last thing were the pants, which were an off grey color, with two pocket on each side. The girl grabbed the outfit and put in on her. She then turned looking back into the mirror to see herself. On the front of the jacket was the school emblem. She sighed and walked toward her dresser drawer pulling out some ankle high white socks. She then slipped them on as she walked to her door, but before she left she turned and looked at herself once more in the mirror. ”oni-chan..’ was the last thing she said, before the light went off, and the door shut.

ANDTiFFSTOLEYOURHEART!

        Full Name: Tiffany Ann Clark-Valentine

        Year: Second year

        Age: Just turned sixteen..

        Gender: Girly girl

        Appearance:

        xxxxoooo{ Height, Body figure and Weight }
        So, you would of guessed it. She is probably short for her age, but thats because she has been dancing since she was about six. Her petite figure, and her hour glass figure make it hard for her to grow. She kinda has a weird body type, because she is skinny towards the chest area towards the torso, and down towards her thighs and such, they become thick like. Or big. She is the shortest out of her friends, being only, five feet and two inches. She pretty short, but don't let that fool you. And her weight, well, that is also a bit weird as well. She weighs about one hundred and twenty-three. Her body figure, and height play a role on her weight. She could never weigh more then one hundred and thirty. Sometimes, she could get close to it, but then she loses it. She is just that special type of girl, able to lose weight, and eat like theres no tomorrow.

        xxxxoooo { Face, Eyes and Hair }
        Her face, is a bit of an oval more towards a heart. You know when you take a thing of lip stick, and draw a certain shape towards your face, you know the shape. Well, hers is a bit mixed. She has the oval thing going on, towards her chin, but up towards her cheeks bones, and forehead there a heart shaped. But hey, its look good on her. Now, her eyes. Her eye of that of a caramel color, but there a bit lighter. Sometimes they change colors, light to a light green, but with a hint of brown in them. There just beauitful eyes, that she was born with. And the other eye you asked? Well, its a icy blue. Yes. One eye is blue, while the other is a brownish color. I know, shes surprising you too. But, when she was born, she had each eye the color of both parents. The icy blue from her father, and the caramel color from her mother. So, she can have something of both parents. Her hair is something that of its own. Its a beauitful light rich brown, with a hint of honey in it. Its just a beauitful color. Her hair is a big long, towards her mid-back, and her bangs are bit towards her eyes. She covers her left eye, because of the different color.

        xxxxoooo { Skin complexion }
        Her skin is that of a baby. She has different tone throughout her body. Her skin is fair, but then towards her legs, there more tan than her arms. And her arms, towards the top towards your shoulder is a bit more white then the rest. Her legs, back, and stomach are the only things tanned. Everything else is completely, white as the board. Its not her fault, its just that, she doesn't get in the sun that much.

        Personality:

        xxxxoooo K-i-n-d-h-e-a-r-t-e-d //
        She is a very kind hearted person. She doesn't like to put anyone on the spot, even make those enemies. She is always going to be a really kind-hearted person. She could never tell you anything mean, or nasty. Its not in her nature to do so. She would feel like a bad person, or even evil if she ever did that.

        xxxxoooo H-o-n-e-s-t //
        She would never lie. That is one thing for sure. She could never tell a lie, because then she would feel guilty about it. Or, if she does ( which is rare to do), she'll being to cry, and then things would get bad. She'll tell what she lied about, and why she did it. That is on rare occasions, but she would never do. Not telling the truth to a friend isn't her thing. She would tell you truth, in a very nice manner.

        xxxxoooo S-t-u-b-b-o-r-n //
        One thing, that she is very is, Stubborn. Even though, is kinda hearted, dont get me wrong. Even those with a kind heart, can have a bit of a hard head. She doesnt like to those that want to help. She wants to fall and makes those mistakes, then someone tell her. She wants everything to happen to her, then someone tell her about the problem, and what should be done. She'll take advice fine, but she wont listen about what to do or not. She a hard head, because she believes her way would win the race.

        xxxxoooo P-a-s-s-i-o-n-a-t-e //
        She is a very passionate person. She does what ever it takes, towards her dancing. She loves it with everything in her body. She will always give one hundred and fifty percent, to make each move, pass or even look; perfect. She is always fighting for the top, not going to give up to those that don't want it as badly as her. She is always passionate about dancing, because that is what makes her feel alive. Passionate to her, is giving your all, and never giving up the fight. You fall, and your going to fall a billion times. You have to learn to pick up the pieces, and put them back together. Everything needs time, dedication, and passion. If you don't have those three things, you don't have nothing to gain. Her heart goes into dancing, and so does her soul. Every move she does, she feels her heart soaring like the sun in the sky. Just makes her feel like she as smooth as water, like a fluid motion.

        xxxxoooo D-e-d-i-c-a-t-e-d //
        Another thing, that she has; dedication. She is always giving her free time to practice, making things perfect, and stick. She is always putting a forth amount of effort into her practice time, always going for perfection, and nothing less. You would always find her in the dance room, practicing until she is sleeping on the floor, at times. She is there, from sunrise, until dawn. Always making new routines, doing old ones, and making the olds one into her style and just into some more beautiful and more flowing. She is always changing styles, and makings things flow in one smooth motion. Her dedication is always there, whether people see it or not, she is dedicated towards dance, and will always be.

        xxxxoooo S-u-p-p-o-r-t-i-v-e //
        She is very supportive towards her friends, and even her fellow dancers. She believes everyone needs support even if they don't want to. Its just a way, to keep your spirits up, and always have a thing to keep your game up. When you have someone supporting you, you want to do well, and showed them you did it, because of them. Well, thats how she is. She is supportive to those, that are always giving it there all, and sometimes need that extra push. In dance class, she is much of the supporting party, towards the new girls. She is always giving them advice on making there moves better, and just being there for them. She is always there to catch them, and helping them up. She is like the cheerleader, always telling you to keep going, and never look back; because when you do, you'll feel like you didn't give it your all. She wants everyone to give one hundred and ninety percent towards everything they do, no matter what.

        xxxxoooo T-e-m-p-e-r //
        Watch out! She has one quick temper, if you don't watch your tongue. Sometimes if you push the right buttons (or wrong in this case), your going to be yelled out, or even the evil glare. Her evil glare is so evil, that would milk curdle. Its just a really bad thing. Her temper sometimes shoots, when people say things about her family, or just make comments about her. Once again, she is kind hearted, but take her as naive. Thats one things shes not. She has a good head on her shoulders, and she will always have that head. She knows when your taking advantage to when your trying to make her look like an idiot. Get one thing straight...never make her mad, you'll regret it.

        Likes:
        Smiling. I like to smile, and able to show that im not always so serious.
        Dancing. Its my life, and without it, its like my in a world, with no air.
        The ocean. The way the ocean comes crashing into the tide, and how calming it sounds. Just a peaceful thing to do.
        My family. Family is important to me, and im always happy to be by their side.
        Friends. I love my friends. There just a bunch of goofy, and just random people, that we can all just be ourselves.
        Being able to express myself. I like the way i could express myself, and no one could tell me what i cant and can do.
        Reading. I like to read, and just catch up with a good story. Sometimes i take what i read, and dance it out. Weird?
        Singing. Sometimes, on rare occasion (and if your lucky) I'll sing. I like to sing, when im not dancing. It just relaxes me, and sometimes makes me feel better about the day i had.
        Being able to watch the sunrise, and sunset. I like to watch them, and being able to just breath. The way the wind comes at the perfect moment, and stays there until the sun goes down, and its gone.
        The way i could make something out of nothing. I could make dance moves like water. It doesn't take me that much time, just about maybe half and hour, and i have some steps down. I like to create things in my head, and then dance it out. It works, most of the time.

        Dislikes:
        Stupid mistakes. When i make those little mistakes during a dance routine, when i know i could nail it.
        Those little remarks. I don't like it, when people make remarks about me dancing, when they couldn't even do what i just did.
        When people judge me. I don't like when you judge me, before you get to know me. Dont judge a book by its cover.
        Rumors. I don't like rumor, and the stupid crap that brings with rumors. I hate that, and don't give me no rumors.
        Drama. I don't like drama, and i don't want it near me. Where old enough here to act like adults, lets start acting like them.
        Cliques. I don't like cliques, and how people change to be in that certain group. I'm just me, and im a dancer. I'm not going to change for anyone or anything.
        Repeating. If you said something once, don't keep on repeating it. I don't like to hear the same thing over and over again.
        Arguing. I don't like to argue with someone who doesn't even have anything better to do. Arguing isn't my thing, and i rather not do it.
        Homework. I'm always swamped with homework, and sometimes i have little to no time, to practice. I have a life to you know!
        Not being able to show what i could bring. Sometimes my nerves get the best of me, and i mess up in part. People start to push me away, before i could show you what i could really do.

        History of Character:
        February fourteen. The day a beauitful little baby girl was born into the arms of Yoly and Chris Clark-Valentine. What a day to be born, huh? You could say the little cupid was looking out for his prize, and he was born yet again, but this time into a little baby girl. Her parents were very happy to have a baby girl. She was going to be the only little girl with beauitful eyes, like her parents. Her eyes were both a different color, and the doctor told them she was going to be something very special. Everything was going to be in due time... Her parents had two last names. One, because her mothers last name was Clark, and second, her fathers last name was Valentine. So, when they got married, they asked to combined the names, and now you have a bit of a mix of her parents, in two ways. Strange how things work out, for those how love each other. Her mother named her Tiffany Ann Clark-Valentine. Tiffany meant hope. And to her, Tiffany was her hope. She was everything her mother ever dreamed out of a baby girl, and she was very happy. She never thought her little Tiffany was going to be born on such a date, but then again, people have their kids on Christmas or even new years, so this is no different. Tiffany was going to be the only one out of her whole family that was born on that month, and she was the youngest. Well, she was the youngest out of all her cousins, anyways. She was the only child, and her parents didn't want to have any more. All they wanted was one child, and too spend and each moment with them. If they wanted a child, they would talk about that later. She was going to be the only granddaughter of her great grand mother, and father. All the rest of the cousin, and nephews, were duh! Boys. Not one single girl, since her aunt and mother came into the picture. There family was going to be destined for boys, but not her. She was the lucky one. Go girl power!

        Growing up. Everyone has to. But do they want to, no! She was always the little fire cracker, and always trying to be like one of the boys growing up. She wanted to be like them, because they wouldn't let her play any games, or even try to be in the group with them. That was just mean! One time, her older cousin, Nick was being a little twerp towards her, and she wasn't going to take it any more. She punched him straight on, and she didn't even cry. But he sure did. He went and told on her, but she was proud. She didn't care if she got in trouble or not, all she wanted was respect. Even though she was the only girl, she wanted to be accepted amongest the boys. They were all older, and bit more nasty towards her, then they were towards the rest oft he boys. The only difference was, gender. Being the only girl was a cruse, and yet a honor. The boys would always get in trouble, if they would push her, shove, or even mock her. Sometimes she would get from slapping them, saying they did it first. Oh, how evil she was when she was little. She was only evil, because the boys didn't let her have any fun with them. That was wrong. Everyone should be treated like an equal, no matter of gender or eye color. That was another thing. Sometimes, they would call her a 'freak', because of her eyes. It wasn't her fault though. She didn't know she was going to have one eye blue, and one eye brown. I mean, give this girl a break. The only reason the boys were making fun of her was, because everyone treated her a bit more like royalty then they did the boys. Maybe they were jealous, but it gave them no right to treat her like crap. You know? About seven, she was listening to music with the boys and she began to dance. Like if she had been dancing her whole life. It was just one of those moments, you have to capture if not, its gone like the wind. She began to do a bit of ballerina moves, and some little strikes here and there. The boys were just dumb founded, and went to get her parents. Ever since then, she has been in dance, and she is getting better at it. She wants to prove to all her 'boys', she has what it takes to be a dancer.

        Being a teenager now, she is still proving them wrong. All of them. She was not afraid to show them what she was working on, a few times; they were still 'wow..'. They are just jealous, but why be mean to someone, when you should encourage. Makes no sense to me, but maybe to the male population is does. Now, ever since she began dancing, people would look at her different. She was always having that potential talk, but never that talk about being better or improving. She wanted to show those people, and her cousins. There was going to be a big dance competition coming up, and she was going to show them something she had never tried before. She was going to throw her dance into a new style, and combine the two. It was going to be a bit risky, but hey, thats part of changing things around. She was practicing for about, three weeks until the big day. She was nervous, and everything was going to zero to sixty, within two minutes. Her name was called, and everyone was quite. First the calm, collective, and very sexy dancing. Then the loud, thumping and very much, hip-hop type of music. It was just an amazing performance, and everyone was just tunned. No one has every tried to do that, and do so smoothly. It was just an amazing thing to do, and everyone loved it. Ever since then, everyone knew, she was going to be great. She puts everything into dancing, and will never five up that fight. She wants people to know she is fighting for that little position in the boys little group in the family, as well in the dancing community. She doesn't give up, and she is a fighter.

        Now, she was going to enter high school, and she was going to a public school at the time. Black dockers.. It was a strange name for a school, but it was a good school, never the less. At the time, she was making good grades, having a great time teaching the dance class, for once. She was just being a normal ninth grader, and she was having the best year. Thats when everything crumbled. Her parents were getting a divorced, and it hit her like a bomb. She didn't know what to do, or even think. She would just blame herself, and wouldn't talk to anyone. She was just in that mode of not talking, and not really wanting to talk about her parents getting a divorce. Finding this out, in the middle of her ninth grade year was just a bad move. But hey, at least they didn't tell her at the last minute, you know? Well, her mother and father got married that same year, and it was during summer. For the both of them. The people they chose were very nice people, and all of them enjoyed Tiffanys company. It was like one big, happy family times four. Now, she was living with her mother for ninth grade year, but her tenth grade year, she was going to live with her father. He was going to put her in a private school. This was going to be her first time in a private school, because she never really liked it growing up. She was in it, until age six, and then her parents took her out. Public school was for her, but than again, change could be good;right? She began to move out with her mother, and moved with her father. He told her about the school, and she was only going to be pleased if they had a dance studio. The school was called Ouran. He said it was only for the wealthy, and those on a scholar ship. It was great school, from what his partners were telling him. First day of that school, soon changed her life..

ANDRIIRIISTOLEYOURHEART!

        • • •Full Name: Shotaro, Kaori

        • • •Year: Second year

        • • •Age: Sixteen

        • • •Gender: Female

        • • •Appearance: x x x

        ________{ Height + Weight }
        You must be assuming that since Kaori is on the basketball team, she's tall. Well, stop assuming, because when you assume something it makes an a** out of u and me. Our little active ball of energy is average height-wise, reaching a peek of 5'6". Recent measuring shows that she's on her way to 5'7", which doesn't make much of a difference to Kaori since height was never something to worry about. As for what digit the scale reads, it clearly points out Kaori has some muscle stuck to her bone, for 143 lbs is what the numbers say and muscle weighs more than fat.

        ________{ Posture }
        Even without an educating class on how she should sit, stand, and walk, the way Kaori moves around is graceful. If she put some effort and concentration, she might as well be floating from place to place instead of walking. With her thin figure, it doesn't take much effort to be flexible either. The way she walks is quiet and peaceful, so it's very difficult to notice she's walking in your direction at first. Another thing is that she never holds her head high or lets her head hang -- she simply stares straight ahead when walking.

        ________{ Face + Hair }
        Kaori has a naturally cute face. A small, petite nose resting in the center of her face, a set of thin lips sometimes wearing pale shades of pink, and a set of dark chocolate orbs. However, with colored contacts her eyes may switch from their natural color to a beautiful shade of turquoise that seems to swirl with emotion. The reason for the switch was because everyone had been talking of colored contacts for awhile last year, and she finally decided to buy herself a set. Finally, you'll notice that Kaori has lovely reddish-brown hair that falls just below her shoulders. Her hair is thick yet easy to manage, much to her luck. Oh! Also, Kaori also has her hair dyed sometimes to a dull brown shade. It's when her hair is that tone that she'll wear her captivating colored contacts, otherwise she'll wear the normal clear contacts she also has.

        • • •Personality:

        ________{ Uncertain }
        You would be better off not questioning Kaori about her plans for the future, or plans for anything, really. She's very unclear about what she plans to do and even about what she wants. Kaori's just...really unsure about everything there is to be unsure about, spare for few things. Her opinion is always changing, thoughts always switching sides for a debate. It's rare for Kaori to ever make a permanent decision for anything.

        ________{ Compassionate }
        Kaori's third most predominant trait of her character is her compassion for others. Always willing to lend a hand, you can feel free to ask her for some help, be it physical work or tutoring, anything really. Even if she's not in the best position to help people, it won't stop her from trying. If you're upset or depressed, Kaori's your little human diary. She'll quietly listen and keep your secrets safe, even go to extreme measures to cheer you up. Sometimes, people have said it's not healthy for Kaori to be so involved in caring about others, since she does it at her own expense. Kaori is a selfless person when it comes to happiness, always others before herself.

        ________{ Push Over }
        Oh, is that what everyone is talking about lately? That new show? Kaori's always trying to keep in touch with what's popular around her. Sometimes it's really apparent that she tries too hard to be involved in the group of girls in the school and comes off as being annoying instead, when all she wants is to be accepted. People have found that Kaori can sometimes be so desperate to join even the smallest of groups that some cunning, selfish girls have begged her to help them out with what ever stupid problems they have, promising to let her into their group if she does so. Kaori can be so easily deceived that she doesn't even fully realize it. This is why she hates liars, because all those girls end up doing is using her and then throwing her away.

        ________{ Teammate }
        If you play a sport, you'll realize that Kaori is always assisting others. Be it passing the ball or giving them a hand as they run down the court to make that final shot, she'll be there to lend her support. On the field, court, where ever, Kaori's not a ball hog of any kind and doesn't desire the attention of being the star of the team, so instead, she hangs around behind. Just because she doesn't have the ball in her grasp all the times, she can still be seen as an important player of the team for all the defense she supplies. If one teammate is down, Kaori's the first one to their side to make sure their all right.

        ________{ Vague }
        Kaori doesn't always give a direct response to some questions. Her intentions are to be honest, but sometimes her words come out giving a completely different meaning. She is misunderstood and dragged into verbal wars because of this. For instance, if someone asked Kaori if she thought this one girl was nice, Kaori could end up replying with a plain "No.", but what she's thinking in her head is something along the lines of, "I don't think she's nice--she's wonderfully kind and considerate of others."

        ________{ Temperamental }
        Watch out! When you set Kaori off, she releases the most wicked temper. Sometimes, Kaori's tempers are worse than they should be because once she's crossed the line, all of the things she kept inside of her for however long a time just rise to the surface, acting as fuel to keep the fire burning. In worst case scenarios, she can be violent and lash out. She can cry, scream, laugh, even. It's a whole side of Kaori that she hates to let people see, which is why she's so insecure about some issues. If Kaori ever looses her temper, it's best to try and isolate her from everyone else. At least, that's what her father would do...

        • • •History of Character:
        Rene, her doting American mother, and Ryu, her strict Japanese father, led a happy life. They were skimming the border between high class and middle class for the majority of their marriage. When they finally settled down with permanent jobs and two kids, they took a temporary fall into the mid class before starting a slow ascent. Their two children were Kaori, the oldest, and Maddie, the youngest. There was a five year gap between the ages, so when Kaori was just entering Kindergarten, Maddie entered her life, bringing more than just a sister. During the months of pregnancy, Renee had taken a fall. It had been stated that no physical harm was done to the baby, but there was an error. Maddie was born blind, a permanent handicap that would greatly effect her way of living.

        It became Kaori's job to watch over her and protect her while they were at school. As they grew older, they became closer than sisters normally would, mainly because of them having to constantly be together. Kaori felt responsible, being Maddie's escort everywhere for everything. Yet, Kaori also felt as if she was receiving unwanted attention. She didnt mind adults commenting her on how well her performance was at serving as Maddie's guardian was, it was the opinion of her peers that caused her emotions to swirl. Her uncertainty needed only one opportunity to surface before tearing her family apart.

        However, despite how things were going well even with Maddie's blindness, Kaori made a fatal mistake. She failed to watch over Maddie when it mattered the most, on a busy street in the snowy city of Newark in America. Kaori had left Maddie out of fear for what a group of kids from her school would say if she did not follow them into the nearby store where they planned to shoplift a scarf. A car came blaring down the road, and Maddie and unknowingly wandered off the sidewalk and onto the street since there was no curb. She was hit. It was Kaori's fault.

        Maddie went into a coma. Things were never the same after that. For two years straight, Kaori isolated herself from the world. Kaori's father filed a divorce, stating that they did not have the money to afford to keep Maddie in the hospital. He claimed custody of Kaori and left, taking the lifeless doll along with him.

        Kaori became fifteen and her father married a woman from a rich company. Their status rose until it was at least tenth most rich family in Japan. The jump was quite a leap from near-poverty to maids and butlers. After Kaori snapped out of her phase, she was uncertain about absolutely everything. Thankfully, her new step-mother was very supportive and kind about her emotional recovery. Despite not wanting to have any relations herself with Kaori's biological mother and sister, she provided transportation to the hospital for her to pay daily visits. She also allowed Kaori to send checks to her mother to cover the hospital costs, along with enough to keep her in a comfortable apartment.

        As a child, Kaori had always been an excellent student. Being in a new rank of society did not change that. Unfortunately, because her life had been so revolved around Maddie's safety and her grades, she had no time to make friends. This was an immediate issue that her new step-mother, whose named happened to be Himeko, pin pointed and made every attempt to help fix. The first step to fixing this issue was sending Kaori off to a boarding school. Only the best of best schools would be allowed to take this child, however! After a long list of comparisons, Ouran was chosen and bags were packed. How can Kaori possibly adjust to all of this when she's had no proper training on how to act like an upper class member should?

        • • •Social Status: Kaori is a princess at home and just another rich girl at Ouran, as for most families in such a wealthy society.

        • • •Parent's jobs:
        Himeko (step-mother) - Owner of company that handles business negotiations of other companies, trades stocks, and also supports new up-and-coming businesses.
        Ryu (father) - Official translator for Himeko's company for English companies and also is a private tutor for English students learning Japanese or Japanese students learning English.
        Rene´ (mother) - Accountant in a small bank.

        • • •School Status: Known to be the wanderer and very, very shy. Though she's made some friends through sports, they are from other teams of different schools.

        • • •Crush: Kyouya Ootori. She admires his ability to easily handle the Host Club and always seem to be in control, unlike she.

        Are you familiar with the Ouran Series?: Yes. Watched the entire series a few times, since it never really gets old [mainly loved the Lobelia eps since they're so absurd.]. Also read the manga and what ever chapters I can grab from FROP scans.

        Confessor____

        Rising from the comfort of her cushioned chair, she let the papers slip from her fingers and fall onto the desk before her. Delia turned and let her gaze fall upon the mass of books lined up against the walls. It was hard to believe that she had gone through every one of those books, searching for what ever information she needed before moving along with what ever she had to do. Still, no amount of books could tell her exactly what was going to happen in the end of this long, drawn out battle.

        Sighing, she rested a hand on her temple as she dug out a pack of cigarettes from her pocket. She could deal with the current battles going on, it was a mistake she made that she was more stressed over. Lighting up a cancer stick, Delia slowly inhaled, letting out the clouds of smoke seconds later.
        "This is a problem," she admitted with a bit of reluctance. It was a problem that her Forgiver was perusing the Keyblade wielder, without her having a clue as to where he was, exactly. This was a smudge on her painting of responsibility that she had presented at the last meeting of the Council. Though no other Confessors knew of it, Delia was in error in having left the one thing that could lead her to Jude on that street.

        Closing her eyes in frustration, she could never scold herself enough for leaving it there. Instead, she had gone back to the base and sent out Disciple to get the card. When he returned, he was flustered, looking around nervously as if he expected to be jumped for not being able to locate it. Delia had dismissed him and set out to relocate it herself, but had no such luck. The card, her only chance at finding Jude and hopefully the Keyblade wielder, was gone. Delia had spent the majority of the day searching for it. By the time she reached her office, she was teetering between being able to withhold her anger or take it out on the wall, or some other poor object.

        Delia collapsed into her chair, one leg swinging over the other as she folded her arms. Wanting to take her mind off of the issue, she groped at her desk for the papers she had been staring at earlier. Finding one, she eyed the contents, nodding to herself as she recalled the person in question. Reicheru Kusa. One of the Regents had informed her of the girl whom had apparently stood up against Heartless. The girl was offered a position as an Acolyte and she readily took it. Perhaps it was how pure the girl seemed, but Delia had mixed opinions of her. Pureness of the heart was always a plus, but Reicheru was dense, to put it simply. She thought she was keeping her identity a secret by wearing clothes with little hearts and halos on them, but they didn't fool anyone, and Delia didn't feel like dealing with it since it didn't cause any problems for the time.

        Judging from the papers, the girl had a tendency to space out frequently but managed to get work done to a good degree. Delia lost interest as her mind pulled the topic of Jude into her thoughts once again. Thankfully for her, an interruption came knocking at her door. A call for them to come in was spoken, and the double doors swung open gracefully, letting a Regent come walking in, bearing some paperwork with him. Great. More papers.

        Out of courtesy, Delia gingerly put out her cigarette in the ash tray resting on her desk. The Regent gave a brief smile of thanks and continued on to speak. "Confessor Delia, this is the list of Disciples that qualify to move on to a Regent status from all the other worlds."

        Delia gave a nod; it was custom for other worlds to know what was going on in all the worlds Disciple wise to make sure that they were being properly trained. Taking the papers, she pretended to be mildly interested. The Regent remained solid where he stood, waiting for her sign of dismissal. However, Delia asked a question instead.

        "Reicheru Kusa, do you know where she is right now?"

        The Regent responded that he did not and left to find her whereabouts. When he left, Delia rose once again and stretched, cracking her neck. Her hands moved to gather all the papers on her desk and put them in a single pile, and while doing this the Regent returned, looking annoyed. Curiosity caused Delia to pay extra attention to what he said and did, to find the cause of his obvious disapproval. "Reicheru Kusa was last seen near the market, but we've heard that she was heading in the direction of the Gummi Ship Port."

        Now that was interesting.
        "I don't recall giving any orders for any of the Disciples to leave. They're supposed to be surveying the area, not going on field trips," Delia stated, her tone convincing the Regent that she was not pleased with the girl's sudden decision either. Taking a few papers clipped together off of the pile, she casually gave them to the Regent while removing her jacket from the back of her chair. "Make a copy of those and send them to Confessor 48." A 'yes ma'am' followed while Delia slipped on her jacket and headed out of the office.

        Her pace was even as she made her way down the hallway. She'd have to have a word with Reicheru about a few things, because it was clear she couldn't put it off any longer. Disciples are trainees, they can't do anything without an okay from a supervisor. The question was; where did that girl plan to go and why?

Canon Name: Haninozuka 'Hunny' Mitsukini
Are you familiar with the Ouran Series?: Yes
RP sample:
A post from an old and unfortunately dead RP
called "L O V E is a strong word"

Quote:
»»As he watched the younger boy scurry up to him, he wrapped his arms around his waist as well, and simply laughed at the corniness of his little comeback. It was one lame one, but that's why he loved him, because of the lameness of little Addie. He was cute, what else was there to say? "EEEEHHH. That was... ehh." he laughed and simply pushed him away as he said he would need to get changed. Nik was one of those people who, what would you say, had a hard time describing things. Even though he did dropout of high school, he does try to read sometimes.

Schoolwork was something Nik completely despised. It was just something he would never want to pick up, something he wouldn't even want to look at. It was like, him to schoolwork, as to a little boy and having an erection. It was a thing... that just wouldn't go away. So, Nik eventually quit, and asked his parents if he could just leave. Of course, parents would usually freak out about such a statement, or a certain phrase, such as, 'Mom, Dad, can I quit high school?' Most of the time parents wouldn't understand as to why, why they would even ask such a thing. But, Nik had parents who didn't really care. They had no interest in what Nik had to do, but he loved them. Even if they would push him away, he'd still love them.

It wasn't until he finally got the picture, and just left. This was when he went to go live with one of his friends who too dropped out, and this was how the band he was in, formed. After getting a few gigs here and there, they were found out. It didn't take that long to sign some of the papers they gave the few, and within a few minutes of that moment, hurrah.

When the group had their own performance at a local hangout, this was when he met Addie, and the instant they met, they fell in love with each other. Since the band was barely on the rise, from a very low start, he didn't have much to do, except make songs. So it was easy to keep his relationship with Addie, but as time progressed, things became different. Especially when it was one bad, bad night, where Nik had a bad day, and Addie was not in the mood for waiting out on him. This was when their trouble with communication started. It might seem like they're okay, when Nik doesn't have to see his agent, but when he does and comes home, it's all just... very different.

But, they get past it, eventually. From the stress and trying to apologize from staying out too long, Nik had several nights where he couldn't sleep at all. He would just write, and write, to make the time pass, but here they are now, beginning the same routine of love and care, into a little ignorance here and there.

Nikolai nodded simply, to him running off towards the bathroom, and began to get dressed himself. He rummaged through his things, and pulled out a pair of straight legged jeans that had a faded dark blue tone to them. When he wriggled them on, he too had them on slightly tight, but they weren't considered skinny jeans. After he shifted the jeans onto his slightly muscular physique, he took off his undershirt and pulled on a graphic white tee that had a slim fit, so it was not tight, but it fit comfortably on him.

"
Okay, lemme just brush my teeth, and I'll be done." he called back to him, and ran over to the other sink. The bathroom was weird, that's all there was to it. Afterwards, he went back into the room and slipped on a plain black hat that just sat atop his head with a slight tilt. The hat was just for a fashion thinger thing, it wasn't what they were supposed to be used for, but that's how these things worked nowadays. Things that were made for something, would be used for something else.

"
Mk, I'm done... Ready to go?" he asked him while he slipped on his plain black slip-on Vans.

AND Ica STOLEYOURHEART!

        • • •Full Name: Icarus Okada ~

        • • •Year: Second year ( 2 ) ~

        • • •Age: Seventeen ~

        • • •Gender: Male ~

        • • •Appearance: Curious boy, Icarus stands at only 5' 5'' with quite a feminine build; Not entirely delicate but not masculine either. For a seventeen year old, Ica has a babyface, skin incredibly soft and smooth with a touch of ivory glow. Full gray orbs, inherited from his father, make up his optics, ones capable of a strong, piercing gaze. Overall, quite a looker with radiant, silver strands that make up his hair and an incredibly attractive posture. Naturally athletic, it is only common sense that his body is cut, lean and well defined. Powerful in his own right but still dainty and proper at the same time. Due to the fact that his father is a CEO of a major modeling company, Ica always comes dressed to impress, fine quality attire always equipped and at his disposal.

        • • •Personality:
        Looking for an honest answer? Look no more! Naturally a p***k or just his style, Icarus is the straightforward type. Never looking to sugarcoat his answers nor his speech, he has gained his reputation in Ouran as the "Poisonous Tongue" and justly so. It would also seem that emotions are of a foreign subject to the boy, never really taking them into consideration for the life of him. Sure, he has his ways and there is a subtle charm about him that makes him that much more irresistible but many have come to keep quite a distance from him. Up to date, he has never had a peaceful conversation with his family and have even resulted in his allowance being pulled quite a number of times. His honest nature has led him to lose quite a number of friends as well but in the way he puts it: "Its just a way to weed out the real friends."

        Indifferent in attitude, with his so-be-it demeanor and his rebellious nature, Icarus has never been one to sit still. Even going to the point of skipping class or leaving it altogether when class is in session, he has been labeled as a punk or rebel, often telling off a teacher in doing so. Don't take him the wrong way, Icarus is far from a delinquent. It's just that normal life is boring to him. With everything handed down to him on a golden platter, it isn't really surprising to see Icarus turn out the way he is. Misunderstood would be the most appropriate term to describe the boy in that context.

        Ica is far from a quitter as well; his stubbornness rivals his lack of consideration. Enrolling in countless sports, activities and events, the boy loves to have a sense of accomplishment about him. Sure, there have been times when he abandoned a club, forfeited a sport, or even got banned for doing something he thinks is right but who hasn't? Despite his negative reputation, its hard for anyone to truly hate the guy: hardworking, competitive, talented, good looking, enthusiastic and somewhat friendly, Ica plays his part and plays his part well in school. Almost like a vegetable: not a lot of people like it but good for you regardless.

        Another important factor to be noted is that Ica is known to get angry real quickly. Tolerance is something Ica hasn't really grasped yet and his fuse is quite short. Often times, due to his bluntness, a conflict would occur, mostly ending with Ica storming about and the other cowering in fear. Quite a sight, really. Despite his short stature, Ica is known to be quite the fighter, probably acquired the skills to fight early on to prevent him from harm. Not entirely dangerous, usually Ica will catch himself before going overboard and with courtesy, apologize if need be. Grudges are quite rare with the fellow so no fear of that would happen anytime soon.

        • • •History of Character:Typical Ouran student's background: Born into a rich family and grew up surrounded by money. Still...

        Born right on schedule, Ica was the treasure of the Okada family. Quite an adventurous and curious boy, Ica was incredibly smart, rising through the ranks of school with authority. With a strong financial background and the willingness to grow, the boy grew beyond imagination in both maturity and knowledge. It was a wonder to see that he did not grow self centered or stuck up with all the benefits he was receiving but rather took it upon himself to get better at everything possible with a humble attitude. Fortunate enough to receive his mother's genes, Ica was quite a handsome boy as well, effectively launching his career as a child model; it helped that his father was the CEO of a modeling agency. Becoming known around the world and having the pressures of life take its toll on him, Ica became slightly distant at the age of ten. It was then that he started to form his straightforward and truthful behavior. Quite frankly, being exposed to the modeling industry, he became sick with hearing praises and deceitful comments. Vowing to never be like those in the modeling world, Ica decided on that day to never sugarcoat his speech or lead another in a negative way.

        Entering Ouran high was the only option for the boy for nothing else would please his parents. Already known throughout the school due to his former reputation, Ica found himself at the center of attention countless times. However, with his sharp tongue and indifferent behavior, much of the snobbish rich kids of Ouran grew to distance themselves from the boy and only a few sincere people remained by his side as friends. Becoming active in sports, clubs, activities and events only led him to become more exposed to others and although he didn't mind it, it was a slight annoyance when it went too far. It was not until the second year of his time at Ouran did he hear of a group called the Host club. Intrigued, Ica decided it was time he checked out this club...

ANDTOORU-RUSTOLEYOURHEART!

        • • •Full Name: Asamiya, Tooru

        • • •Year: First Year. Is it over yet?

        • • •Age: I've seen 10 and a 5 years. [ 1 5 ]

        • • •Gender: You wouldn't really call [ h e r ] typical

        • • •Appearance: Smile.

        • • •Personality:

                        WHAT YOU SEE
                        [ On the o u t s i d e looking in ]

                        When you look at Tooru you see a being that is reasonable, careful and thoughtful person. It seems Tooru likes to keep a good pace with her work. Whether it be writing an essay, working on a project, getting things done. It seems she thinks very little of time, taking in moments and registering them in her memory for much later enjoying life it seems. On the outside she seems like such a quiet soul, carefully doing things at her own pace, people seldom think to speak and chat with her, thinking her silence as a way to reject her classmates instead of just her usual seemingly calm aura. But that is not so, because you see Tooru gets so into her little matters, double-checking and re-checking everything so that she may get the best grades in the class, or cleaning her room and making sure everything isn’t out of place. In reality she dreads this, but series of events have made this sort of a habit. When asked to do something or in the middle of some problem it always looks like Tooru comes up with some compromise and then gets to the task at hand with out another word. It hard to tell what’s really going on in her mind, but students just tend to guess and figure she’s just a very thoughtful person. But is it that way really? Some are still unsure. Which is exactly why she is usually found alone, because people usually tend to see the outside, rather than the inside. Which is a shame really. Since it seems no one really takes the time to know a person any more. But now that we seem to be done with what people ‘see’ lets move on to what they don’t, shall we?

                        GET A LITTLE CLOSER
                        [ Feel for once what it's like to r e b e l now ]

                        She had to be perfect, for them at least. She owes them that much, no more hanging out at the skate park, no more chilling at home. She has to be perfect. She isn’t in middle school anymore. Wait … that’s the same thing she’s been saying for three years now, and even then she cracks within a half a year. No, but not this time. All her old friends are back in who knows where, they can’t contact her anymore … hopefully. She wasn’t good at forming lasting friendships anyways, so there really is nothing to worry about. But damn! She’s going to miss sneaking out at night to go party at some idiots’ house. But not now, never again, she wasn’t going to go back. Flower arranging, school work, dance class, sleep. If she doesn’t love it now, she’ll just have to learn to love it. Mom seems happy enough, and father couldn’t be any more proud. So her plan seems to be working thus far … She hasn’t talked back to anyone in over five months! But then again she hasn’t been talking much in those five months. Her voice sounds different, even to her, and she’s pretty sure it isn’t puberty. Or is it? Her life has taken a little bit of a toll since this little idea hit. To change herself, for the sake of her family and maybe even herself. But ever since then the world has had no color in it. Is this what her parents saw? Not likely. They were always so happy or at least they seemed that way after mom’s trips to the psychologist and after dad came back from the United States. So why?

                        But outside the school, if she takes a bus ride away from Ouran, those kids in those other schools seem really cool. Maybe if she asked? No. She’s from Ouran; she’d have to change clothes somewhere before she went. But what if someone found out? What would her parents think? What a silly idea. She really should stop coming up with such stupid plans. She’s happy this way; this is the life she lives. And sure, maybe it wasn’t like that at first, but if she’s going to inherit the company then she has to be a great respectable woman. She has a long way to go, and she could make friends with these rich girl types … what is she talking about? She is one of them! Eg. Why does that sound like a disease? Or another race of people completely? ‘One of them.’ Seems fitting. Is she even doing this right? No one’s approached her so far. She’s one of the tops of her class, she’s polite, and she doesn’t have any bad eating habits! ( At least not anymore. ) Maybe they can sense it. That she really isn’t one of them. Honestly Tooru’s just a bit frightened that the minute she talks to one of them they’ll look her in the face, stare at her in disgust, and accuse her of the fraud she is and then walk away.

                        YOU CAN DEPEND ON
                        [ L o y a l && S t r o n g - willed to the very end ]

                        Mind you, she really has no friends at this school; the only ones she shall truly ever be loyal to are both her parents. Or those who act like her parents. Tooru would practically die for these people; people who took her in while every one else in the family rejected her. She views them as mama and papa even though the relation is a bit distant than really wanted. She feels she is indebted to these people for she seldom saw much kindness growing up. So in the end what else but silently pledge your loyalty to such people? Try and change yourself for what they believe the better. Is she weird for thinking that way? In an attached sort of way you could say she’s a bit like a puppy that will probably follow the first act of kindness thrown at her. Or, maybe not. As of late all she’s been doing is studying, doing her work, staying at school, going home and sleeping. She volunteers for work at school and doesn’t fuss when the other stuck-ups don’t show up. For mom and dad. For mom and dad. Just keep reminding yourself that as you become more miserable. The question now is. How much can a little puppy endure before loyalty is the last thing on its mind? At the moment Tooru is trying to peel away her old self, and try to get this new lifestyle straight and right. Sure it’s a big a adjustment and it’s already been a number of years but at the very least she won’t give up least … If asked to give up something for these people, without another word she would have. And she already has. Her life.

                        ONLY IN DREAMS
                        [ Ever the d r e a m e r ... ]

                        Living in her own world, her own rules, her life is like this huge game. To her reality is vastly over-rated. As the teacher continues to prattle about things Tooru can’t help but find herself slowly drifting off … looking out the window towards the sky. On the most ordinary of days ( or not. ) it makes you wonder what it would be like to be someone else, what would have happened if this or that hadn’t happened? Imagining herself in her own little wonderland until at the very last moment it’s swiped away from you by the fact that that’s all it’ll ever be. A dream. A hope that can never be fulfilled … It sucks. Really it does. But what if some of those dreams can be fulfilled by you, and you alone? What if you have the power to make yourself better yet you don’t even realize it? Whose to say you can’t be outside right now when the teachers talking? Who is telling you otherwise that you can’t do this or that? Tooru needs a giant reality check. When will she ever learn that things don’t happen like in those Disney movies. It won’t be like in Cinderella, where a fairy godmother comes to grant your wish. Life isn’t like some pop song, where the lyrics are simple enough to understand. No, it’s way more complicated than that. So why does she insist on sticking to a world where she can make no contact with other people? Being Tooru you’d think she’d not like the loneliness … Now the question is: When will she ever wake up?

                        DON'T FALL DON'T FALL DON'T FALL
                        [ K l u t z . ]

                        You’d think with all the roller skating, skate boarding, running away from angry old ladies Tooru would have a great sense of balance. Which is why that is not exactly true. On roller skates she nearly always fell on her butt, lets not get started on the ‘skate boarding’ incident and the last time she tried to run away from anyone was the day she ended up in the emergency room for the third time that month. A bit drastic, no? But we’re just playing it down. Don’t get too excited now, if you’re hoping to see and tripping, falling, crashing into things, the chances are you aren’t going to be seeing any anytime soon. Why? Ever since Tooru’s little goal to be the perfect daughter she’s been watching her movements very carefully. Which is really tiring, believe me. Which would also explain why the students think her such a careful and tidy person. Fact is, she’s been watching to carefully, and if she leaves the scissors out for too long she’s afraid she just might poke herself with them and then what? Be the laughing stock of the whole school? Be forever known as the girl who can’t use scissors? She’s considered that fact that a couple years ago, crap like this wouldn’t have bothered her, but now … well now things are very different. She’s representing her family out there! Tooru being one to blow things way out of proportion has thought too much about this. But the truth is … this is just another high school. Sure the kids are high class but they’re human too … well, sort of anyways.

        ♥→ Anime&&Manga Having an aunt who's completely into the stuff. It's a little cool to be helping your aunt add the screen tones to her newest manga.

        ♥→ The Household I say the household because there are where the people I love the most are. I don't like my other family. In fact, I don't think I've really ever met them ...

        ♥→ Reading It's safe and it doesn't land me on my back. Plus, I think it boosts up my creativity a bit. Old stories by Jane Austen or Emily Brönte ... stuff like that has interested me greatly as of late. Now ... if only I could understand them a bit better.

        ♥→ Tea Ceremony It's actually a bit fun. Though Gandmama keeps needing to remind me it's actually quite serious. Still, I can't find myself keeping a straight face through the whole thing. Oh well, I'll learn ... eventually ...

        ♥→ Drawing&&Sketching Mama says I didn't get the artistic genes from my mom, but from her. I used to draw normal stuff, flowers, skulls, happy faces on my binders, a year ago my things started looking a lot like one of Mama's graphic novels. Oh dear ...

        ♥→ Music Who doesn't like music? Anything but country or rap please.

        ♥→ Spicy Food I don't have much of a sweet tooth. What I do have, is a love for all things spicy. If I could I would have it everyday, but Papa isn't much of a sport about. Maybe because I hurt his manly pride beating him in who could eat the most without shedding the most tears. I won.

        ♥→ Scary Movies&&Comedies None of that romantic crap please. It's good in a book, but not in the theaters. If I wanted to see gooey-gooey love-love then I'd just stay at home and watch the guardians cuddle on the couch. GROSS. Action's okay ... but I don't like it that much.

        ×→ Rain Rain, rain, go away. Why does it always rain when I want to go out the most? That's why I hate rainy season ...

        ×→ Blood I don't have a phobia or anything. It's just icky and gross.

        ×→ Tears You can't get anything through crying, it won't magically change your world no matter how much you may want it too. Tears make me uncomfortable.

        ×→ English Ugh. Me are stupid, teacher am useless?* What the hell? I can't understand what from what in these textbooks! This is probably the only class I'm not doing so great in. The teacher says I need a tutor ( No s**t sherlock. I hate it when teachers state the obvious. It's the same in every school I tell you. )... But I can't show these grades to the folks!

        ×→ Otaku Mama's often getting fan mail and sometimes she brings them back home with her. Some of this crap is really hilarious, and the art is often really good. But every once in awhile a gay picture of two of the male lead characters will pop up. Obviously it disturbs me a bit. Mama jokes that she'll make a yaoi one day, or at least a pair of gay characters. I took her seriously. ( I don't have with Otaku personally, I just don't really like much of the mail they send. )

                        In the beginning, way before Tooru was even born there was a woman of the name of Hatsuki, her family was strict yet kind. She was a beautiful woman with eyes of the prettiest green you shall ever see. Her hair was a muddy brown, but it complemented her face. Around the time this love story takes place she was in college, but the college was still in walking distance of her home so it was convenient. Her little sister Koumi was still in her second year of high school and very much enjoyed it when her sister came home. Her mother and father were both seldom home, but always seemed to be there when Hatsuki came to visit. She was a studious girl wanting to make something of her life, but love would soon hit her as unexpectedly as a speeding torpedo headed straight for her heart. It would be a normal cloudy day, when the two should meet.

                        Mizuki, Yusa was a man in his early twenties, a struggling artist who lived in a one bedroom flat with two of his other band members. His life was usually getting gigs at random places and his band ‘Piece double Piece’ had their own little fan base. He had black as night hair, which he often dyed in outrageous colors. He was a very flirtatious and cocky guy with an attitude problem. And why shouldn’t he be? He was hot, and he knew it. His best friends were the two who lived with him the drummer and the pianist, Yoshiko along with Izumi who often stopped him from doing stupid things when best needed. So, it was no surprise that on this particular day, Yusa was escaping practice by taking a stroll about the park. His cell was off, which was bound to piss off Izumi who had a very short temper.

                        Hatsuki was coming from a bakery, bringing her sister some snacks so she could tutor her in math. Honestly she was a little worried that Koumi had been working more on her art and manga than her studies, so of course she should worry. After all she was the elder sister. About the same time, around the same area, Yusa hadn’t been paying much attention to the area surrounding him and therefore it was no surprise when suddenly little pastries were flying in the air and two people were suddenly on the ground. Ready to go off on the person, Yusa was ready to start cursing and telling the stupid woman off, when a kind hand reached out towards him. The woman had already gotten up and was now offering him her hand. He did not get a good look at her, but didn’t take the hand and stood on his own. Stubborn that he was, he wasn’t about to let another help him off the ground. She smiled kindly towards him and then went to inspect if the rest of the pastries were in one piece. His first thought of her was: What a weirdo! Her first thought was: I hope the pastries are okay!

                        In the end Yusa found himself bringing the girl home. Since of course it was his fault, he did have a heart, and the more he looked at her the hotter she looked. So yeah, all in all, walk her home was probably the best choice for now. Plus the guys would probably never think to find him with a babe, since in all daylight hours he chose to avoid any female contact. Women were so clingy and all, and when you gave them an inch they suddenly thought you were in love. Seriously, that crap would not go well with the band. In that time she filled the awkward silence with the strangest of questions, and for some reason he found himself answering them. Like, why he thought time existed, and what would life be like if everything was black and white. Her mind was really interesting and he soon found himself participating the conversation as well. Before he knew it, they were at her home. Normally her would have just left, but there was something in the pit of his stomach that told him he’d want to meet her again. He ignored that feeling and wished her goodbye.

                        The probability that they should ever meet again would usually be very low. BUT! Since Yusa knew exactly where this girl supposedly lived he’d stop by there every once in awhile debating the fact of whether or not he should go and knock on the door. But what would he say? That would be awkward. Until one day as he was watching the house there was a tap on his shoulder. Now, and normal person would think whoever was watching their house was a pervert of something. Apparently not this person … She remembered him, and asked if he needed anything. The conversation was a little a blur to him so lets switch over to Hatsuki’s point of view. He blabbered a bit about being in the area, and since her parents weren’t home right now she asked if he wanted a snack. Coincidentally she had been at the bakery again and was on her way to tutor Koumi. He muttered something about not wanting to intrude which genuinely confused her but she insisted anyways.

                        Koumi’s first reaction when Yusa came through the door was: ‘CAN I DRAW YOU!?’ He was her inspiration for her first mini-comic and she thought he looked cool. Yusa on the other hand was given a quick explanation that this was not her house and that she was a student in college. Wow. Had he been off … He looked at her a lot, as she tried to calm down Koumi and tried to get her to study and as she got him something to eat. Hatsuki felt her cheeks burn as he looked at her and she wished he wouldn’t stare at her so much. Yusa realized this was more than mere attraction. Do you believe in love at first sight? This is where the love started~.

                        They fell in love; much against her mother and fathers wishes they even got married. The only person in Hatsuki’s family who supported them was her little sister, who was now a mangaka. It had been a year and a half and she had by that time, quit college, started working, and used her savings along with Yusa’s to move into their very own two-bedroom apartment. Why two bedrooms you ask? Because Hatsuki just happened to be pregnant at the moment and well, the baby was soon to be expected. Tooru was that baby and she would be born that spring. Yusa continued to rock with the band and every once in awhile Hatsuki would get some hate mail from a rabid fan. She never minded though, she was a very calm and gentle spirit. The day Tooru was born was probably the happiest day in both parents’ lives. Around two months Tooru was born, Koumi was to be married as well. She fell in love with a man who had his millions and came from a wealthy family. They had met at a local bar, where Koumi had been trying to finish a character sketch. The man recognized the manga … and well, they hit it off from there. At the wedding Tooru had met her grandmother and grandfather for the first time. They did not approach the baby or the mother and father; in fact it’s safe to say they were very ignored. Who she did meet though were the grooms’ parents who absolutely loved the beautiful green eyed-child. The groom himself called her a beautiful baby and wished with all his heart that one day both him and Koumi would have one of their own. Koumi spent the rest of the day asking her sister if she could ‘keep’ Tooru, like most family members do when they see another’s’ baby.

                        Tooru grew up with the face of an angel but with the attitude of her father. She had some personality traits that resembled her mothers, like the fact that she fell down a lot. Making all in all the cutest child ever. Often it was Yusa the one who picked the ‘kick-a**’ clothes she was to wear. And as she grew older, she became your average kid. She was happy most of the time, and life was pretty bittersweet. There were bills to be paid and both Hatsuki and Yusa refused to ask for the help of Koumi. Hatsuki would work, and now that Yusa had quit the band he would work as well. Tooru never knew what they worked as, but one thing was for sure. They made an honest living. Tooru couldn’t wait until she was older, when she could work along them as well. For now she’d have to stick to her paper route, waking up really early in the mornings and then heading to school. Not that she would learn anything. She rarely paid much attention. She tried too, but school was just so boring.

                        It happened when she was in sixth grade. There isn’t much to tell, both her parents had gotten in an accident. It was instant death. The fact of the matter was who was to take in the child the supposedly caused bad luck? So that was what her family thought of her. The only family that took her in with out a second thought was Koumi and her husband, who had yet to have a child. Of course Tooru had cried upon hearing the news, but she soon realized crying wouldn’t bring both her parents back. Those who she admired and loved so much were gone now, and they weren’t coming back. Instead she was forced upon a world she did not now, leaving her friends behind and being put in the schools were academics were all. Her room was the size of the apartment she remembered, and her allowance was the size of a ransom. It was off-putting, and not to mention confusing. She got lost in the house the first day there. She’d have to thank them in some way for being the only people who would take her in. Around the time that they had taken her in Tooru’s hair had red highlights in it. She dyed her hair back to it’s natural color, tried studying in school, and suddenly became the quiet, pretty girl in the class.

                        This was her thank you.
