The Most Hypocritical and Pathetic PM I've Received In My Time On Gaia
scl98029's Hilarious Hypocritical PM
Now, why does this give me the LULZ?
Simple. Let me explain and go way back.
scl98029 was a personal friend of mine, even back when I was the only person in my group of friends that was on Gaia. Soon, word spread about the PWNFUL website, and she started playing as well. Unfortunately, her parents found out about Gaia a few weeks after she started playing and banned the website because they thought it was unsafe.
Now over that period time, I switched accounts several times (don't ask), got immensely wealthy, got more of my and scl98029's personal friends to join, and got fairly poor again (referring to this account). And so, over that period time, I got Malibu Vista and MyntyGreen to join (Incandescent Requiem joined a few weeks after I started playing Gaia). That period of time was one year, so I had been on Gaia for a year.
Soon enough, though, scl98029, with all of her computer geek glory, used her web server to get on Gaia again. She purchased a ten dollar gift card at Target without her parents knowing and all hell broke loose.
scl98029 had only 19 posts, pretty much screaming out that she had little experience on all the memes, trends, and ways of Gaia. But because of her ten dollar gift card, God save us all, she became the wealthiest person among all of us. WITHOUT FREAKING WORKING AT ALL.
Being my usual know-Gaia self, I got extremely ticked off. To make matters worse, Incandescent Requiem just so decided to fake-quit and let MyntyGreen inherit her wealth. And come to think of it, she's been playing Gaia for almost as long as I have. So I was mad at both scl98029 and MyntyGreen, thinking they could just waltz through Gaia through shallow wealth.
So I snapped. I put both MyntyGreen and scl98029 on my ignore list, but took them off eventually. I got over it with MyntyGreen, since she started working, and it wasn't exactly her fault that she got donated to (now that I think of it, I should be mad at Incandescent Requiem for donating so much to someone who doesn't exactly deserve it; she should have given her less) Later on, I commented this on scl98029's profile:

Despite your wealth, you still have a long way to go in calculating the account worth of user accounts.
(Yes, I actually quoted CORRECTLY, unlike a certain undeservingly rich someone who claims she knows more than a person who has been on Gaia for a year longer than her)

I have a better idea. Why don't you be quiet and stop acting all high-and-mighty?
Now what do we call this kind of person? A person with 19 posts and little experience, but decides to be ignorant and arrogant?
A NOOB.
Yes, a noob. Someone who is new to a game (in this case, Gaia), is arrogant, annoyingly over-confident, and lacks respect for more experienced players.
"OH, LOLZ, BUT NOOBS TLK LIEK DIS, FLAME, TROLL, BREAK ALL DA ROOLZ, AND HAVE BAD GRAMMArr!"
Not necessarily. Noobs can be literate (though not in most cases) as long as they fit the description above.
And so there you have it, scl98029.
YOU ARE A FREAKING NOOB.
Sincerely,
Mono Pie

April 2, 2008 :: Wrote entry and sent links to friends. Friends agreed scl98029 messed with the wrong person.
April 3, 2008 :: Sent PM that will get scl98029 rick roll'd and redirected to here.
April 7, 2008 :: scl98029's reply came. Here it is below:
You know, I'm not even going to bother clicking your stupid links.
I, unlike some people who post millions of times in the forums to get gold even though they already have too much, actually work for my gold. I own a private business designing signatures, animations, art, background music for profiles, custom cursors, and banners. Also, you'd be amazed how many people can't do a simple fixed-fluid CSS layout, so I code layouts and special effects for profiles. I get paid a lot.
Also, I am a moderator on the Random Gift-Giving Guild, so I get a lot of gifts.
A NOOB.

Official Reply To Second PM:
Okay, scl98029. I've found many faults with your reply, along with many good points. First of all, I'll start with your opening sentence.
"You know, I'm not even going to bother clicking your stupid links."
What? According to that, you didn't even read my reply (or get rick roll'd, matter of fact). And if you did, you lied. Foul play, I say, foul play.
So basically, you were either too much of a pansy to read my reply, or too much of a pansy to reply to it, lying about the fact that you read it out of desperation.
Okay, now second sentence.
"I, unlike some people who post millions of times in the forums to get gold even though they already have too much, actually work for my gold."
So are you implying that people who post millions of times in the forums to get gold don't work for their gold. Take a look at Malibu Vista. She has posted more than any of us (besides me and Incandescent Requiem) and yet makes gold. How is that effortless? I think it's work.
Oh, and what is with that "already too much?" Do you mean already too much gold? Or already too much posts? Either way, that practically means that you're saying that people should stop posting or getting gold when they have a large amount of it. Then what about those people questing for highly expensive items, such as the Angelic Scarf, or Seal Slippers? Some people have nearly 200k in quest gold for that, and they're not even close. Then you're going to tell them that they should just stop?
Okay, third and fourth sentence:
I own a private business designing signatures, animations, art, background music for profiles, custom cursors, and banners. Also, you'd be amazed how many people can't do a simple fixed-fluid CSS layout, so I code layouts and special effects for profiles. I get paid a lot.
...
Even if you own a private business selling digital graphics, how did people find out about it? Not a single topic in your posts has anything about it at all. And funny, in your Digital Media guild, you only have one post.
I'm not amazed that people can't do that. I can't do that either, nor do I know what that is. So when someone asks in the forums where I get my profile layouts, I send them a link. What do you do? You rip people off instead of giving the free layouts.
The only good point in this whole PM is special effects, animations, and custom cursors.
Oh wait, what about background music for profiles? People have guides about that in the Guides and Resources forums.
Now, moving onto the fifth sentence:
Also, I am a moderator on the Random Gift-Giving Guild, so I get a lot of gifts.
And just how much do those gifts get you? Believe me, I have been in random gift-giving threads, as well as random gift-giving charities. They don't give you items more than 2k in value.
