3-1 win
Game Preview: The Regular Season is about to end for the Montreal Canadiens. They have played 80 games and have to games to go. One of them is tonight's. Carey Price will face the Buffalo Sabres. Buffalo is still chasing the 8th spot. Montreal "doesn't" need this one to make the playoffs. They only need this one for the first place in the Eastern's first place. Saku and Michael Ryder will be absent. Matt D'Agostini has been called up and will take place in a game.
Final: Nice 3-1 win from Montreal! Too bad Price didn't get a shutout. He was excellent. The crowd, as usual, is incredible. I so need a pair of tickets to go see a play-offs game. Canadiens manages to tie up with Pens for the first spot with 102 points. Alot, now really ALOT, of hitting involved. Too bad we won't be able to face them in the after season. Smolinski's line was really impressive. He scores 2 goals, but that trio had many chances. It's really good to know that Pleky's line doesn't have to do everything. Higgins with the game winner on a Powerplay. One more and the season's done!
My three Stars: 1-Carey Price 2-Brian Smolinski 3-Chris Higgins
Scoresheet: Montreal: Chris Higgins, Brian Smolinski (2 goals) Buffalo: Ales Kotalik
Next Game: Toronto Maple Leafs, APR 5th.
