My Book of Dark Poetry

This is what i write......



Well, I am now back for two weeks worth of "fun..." I never realized this, but the echo of their voices seem so much louder here at home than they were overseas. I constantly have to drown myself in doing something to forget about their haunting smiles, and their waving hair...I have tried to move on, looking for someone to simply share my time with. But when, oh when, will this neverending pain in my earthly heart ever cease?

	Oh my friend, it hurts to read this. I know there is not much more I can say that I have not already said, or anything that will make much of a difference. I wish I could wrap my arms around you and assure you that you are not alone, but sadly, I cannot. So my words will have to be the best offering I have for you. My friend, I have been praying for you since I met you, I'm not giving up on you, and I'm not going to abandon you.
