Shades of Gray
These memories.
They aren’t bright.
They aren’t colorful.
They aren’t brimming with happiness.
All of these memories,
They are just Shades of Gray.
I wish they had spark.
I wish they had light.
I wish they could be what i wished for.
But they’re not.
These memories are just
Shades of Gray.
They lack the life.
They lack the love.
But, most of all
They lack you.
Because all these memories are
Is Shades of Gray.
They are the memories
That came before you.
The ones i wish to get rid of.
The ones that hold no other meaning.
Then to waste more space.
As Shades of Gray.
