Yes, life is pain, life is cruel. So is love......but if we permit ourselves to let it consume us, we destroy everything we are. This is coming from someone who has undergone extensive surgeries, a rape attempt, the early death of my dad and watching my friends ruin their lives........

My advice? Deal with it.

Deal with it even if you don't feel like getting out of bed in the morning. Deal with it even if you turn on the TV and all you see is devastation. Deal with it even if you have to lie through your teeth when someone asks "So, how are you today?" and grin right back at them when all you want is to throttle them for daring to open their mouth.

There is true love. My parents were proof of that. True love doesn't ask "what's in it for me?"......true love asks, "how can I help you see yourself?". True love requires work, patience, understanding, compassion and plenty of insanity. All couples fight. Any couple that doesn't have at least one argument is either too immature or living in a dream land. Arguments force a couple to come to terms with their differences and work things out, even if it takes a very long time to do so. Besides, you are still young and right now you need to focus on getting an education.

Then you can take over the world. twisted
