The Wonderland Inside Us All.
Alice in Horrorland
I did not write this but I love it and who ever did write it is very talented!

Alice In Horrorland

Alice crawled up a grassy knoll,
Over a brick wall, straight and tall.
Alice stumbled into a rabbit hole,
Into wonderland she did fall.

Where she met Mary with her little lamb
Whose fleece was dark as hell.
A curtsy and "How d'ya do ma'm?"
Before the jingle of the bell.

Gone the sheep.
Away it ran.
Mary did weep,
But Alice had a plan.

They would seek the Cheshire Cat
Whom Alice had meet afore.
They'd find him and have a chat.
He'd be through the enchanted door.

But little did they know the surprise they'd get
For as they entered the dank little room
They beheld the Duchess, wrists aslit
Blood upon floor, her throne an open tomb.

The sight they beheld sickened them so.
The reason for this act they could not guess.
The Cat sat upon her knee, no sign of woe
For the subsequent events that would soon transgress.

The Queen of Hearts, enraged as she was,
For the loss of an execution victim
Took the two girls instead because
She had the utmost desire to dictum.

In the castle dungeon, cold and dark,
In a cell with the Mad Hatter and March Hare,
Alice began to rave in madness of quark,
Beating furiously at the air.

Two hundred and two days they did spend
In this madness and anticipation.
The dormouse Mary did befriend
But only after his decapitation.

The Hare had been removed long ago.
His sight the Hatter missed.
He could not live as such and so
A nail he found and slit his wrist.

Now remained Alice and Mary so sad.
Unsure of the year, the day, the time,
Forgetting all sanity they once had,
Dwindling away amongst the filth and grime.

Two hundred and two days longer they endured
Until a light set their cell aglow
And by a tempting hand they were lured,
In their hearts a hope did grow.

Down fell a rope, Alice did climb
But Mary was unable to rise.
She had met her end, run out of time.
She could not reach the blue skies.

There she remained, Dormouse in hand,
Hatter at foot and staff at side.
Alice had to continue or risk remand
But she'd never forget the day Mary died.
