I don't follow politics. I don't get them.
I was asked who I'd cast a vote for in the election, if I could vote. My reply?
"I don't care, as long as they can ******** the economy and get Bush OUT OF POWER."
Seriously.
Yeah, okay, I don't know how many people out there agree with me.
Well, this lead to talk of gas prices. Truly horrifying. Between how bad drivers are in California, and the fact that gas prices are ROCKETING, I'm not sure I even WANT to drive.
Of course, at least they're not rationing gas like they did in...I believe it was the 60's or the 70's. Only allowed ten gallons every time you went to fill up? Ouch. And gas prices were rising in that time period, too.
Mr. Allen said "aside from the rationing, does this sound familiar? Like, say...where OUR economy is sliding to?"
Geeeeeez...
Random: Rice is so expensive that people have started hoarding it, and I believe it's being rationed now, too. I think Kai told me they were out of rice over in the East Bay. Ouch.
I'd keep going with this rant if I could actually figure out WHAT I want to say. Just...

i can't stand politics myself...
but my grandpa forces it on me...
and the rice thing...i forgot what they said...oh yea! they are limiting how much 10 pound rice bags people can buy....
We are going into a defecit(sp)...
the US is going down under...
the solution?
keep the jackas*es here in the US and allow those who want to survive and live happily move to a different country...or perhaps...am i being to harsh?
