Coming soon to this journal only! Long ago, I was on awriting spree and since I lacked the ability to publish, I did the next best thing: wrote fanfics. I'll be posting my fav three fanfics in my journal. The first one is my all-time favorite: The Katua series. The Katua series was divided into three "books": Book 1: Revenge, Book 2: Rebirth, and Book 3: Apocalypse. However, before the old forums I posted on were shut down, I only got halfway through book one. However, the rest of book one and all of books two and three remain in my journal at home and in my head.
The Katua series was originally a Zatch Bell fanfic (I don't care what you think. Without fillers, Zatch Bell was an awesome anime). However, it lacked many elements of the Zatch Bell universe and was a very serious fanfic and unrelated to Zatch Bell characters. So, once the forums were gone, I did some editing (to avoid copyright infrigment) and made Katua it's own fiction. It has a little bit of Naruto in it but by the end of book one, it's all gone. Anyway, I'll give some characters in this entry and I'll post the main theme of book one after that.
Characters
Katua: Main protagonist and narrator. Travels with his brother and his friends in order to complete his ambition. Wields the legendary sword Muramasa. Posseses mastery of fire and has a Sharingan.
Zoa: Katua's twin brother. Travels with Katua for the same goal. Not as emotional as his brother. Zoa wields the Sword of Truths and has mastery over ice. No Sharingan like his brother.
Sora: A treasure hunter whose group encounters Katua and Zoa in the Lost Woods. A skilled bare handed fighter and posseses powers like Zoa and Katua
Alex: Sora's sister who also encounters Katua and Zoa. She uses knives and kunais to fight. Claims to have powers but never reveals them. She's a skilled liar
Shadow: A rogue who traveled with Sora and Alex. Has no powers but makes up for it with extreme speed and figting abilities. Great with a sword and often calls Katua "Bean Sprout"
Taelia: Princess of Labrynna. Helps Katua and the others protect her castle under siege and joins him to recover the three force gems which protect her kingdom. Powers are centered around the two fans on her back in order to control wind.
Riru: The assistant of the great sage in Holodrum. Protects the Book of Secrets and joins Katua in order to regain the lost pages. Has mastery over light and her attacks are on par with Katuas.
Kiya: A girl who Katua meets at a town while the others rest. The two become smitten with eachother and Kiya joins Katua so she can help him. Her powers seem to be pure magic energy, possibly the root of of all magic powers
Veral: The main antagonist (villain). Veral seeks the Golden Power by opening the four gates. Katua hunts down Veral for other reasons (no spoilers given). Veral is one of the seven legendary swordsmen and wielde the demonic sword Darkai.
Ok, that's the main characters. Now for the song. I chose this song because when one of my friends drew a manga version of a few Katua chapters, I was litening to this song while reading it and found it to be very fitting for the overall plot.
