The Hills? PUH-LEASE.
*Lisa Frank*
My avi story
[I figured it'd be stupid without one of course.]

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Satan greets the soulless man, flashing a smile of knives while he opens his arms, "So wonderful you could make it! We've been waiting for you!"
"Where... Where I am?" he looks ahead, to an altar of a red and white wedding.
"Why, you’re in hell of course. We try to make it look a little more appealing to those God freaks by adding candles and gates and gardens and-"
"I'm in hell?!"
Satan folds his arms and looks to the side with a sneer, muttering, "We worked really hard on this. Thank you." he picks his head back up looks towards the man, "Yes. You're in hell. What a wonderful place to be, too! A place of artificial pleasure and... Anyways, Kate's waiting for you up ahead."
"But how- Kate's here?" he looks down the lit carpet, his eyes reaching the face of his fiancé. She was wearing a wedding gown, holding tightly to both a bouquet and smile. After taking in the sight of her, his feet begin to move up the path, getting closer and closer to her, but not close enough. "Kate... what... what are you doing here?" his palm goes to caress her cheek without his content, only to feel the cold illusion in front of him. "Kate.."
Her face grew confused as she looked him the eye, her smile twitching, "Why, I'm here to marry you, silly! It's the 7th! I wanted it to be the 6th but you insisted, although it's awfully hard to keep track of the time- it is the 7th, isn't it?" she turns to ask the priest for the date, that's when he sees it.
On his beloved's back there lay gashes. Open wounds gracing her skin with moist sparkles of red, their favorite color. His hand reached out to her, his eyes and mind trying to pull away and wake up from this hell. But before he could feel the reality, she turned back around to face him.
"It's the 7th. So are you ready to do this?" as she spoke, her lips pursed upward innocently, but her eyes began to shake with fear, and knowing. "What is it?"
He stared into her face, knowing but his lips pushed the question, "What happened?" and after he spoke this, he felt himself loosen, as if he was free from an inner bond. "Did I... Did I do this to you..?"
Her eyes glistened with tears that fell one by one. "Yes." she whispered.
"I'm sorry. I.."
She shook her head, pulling her veil behind her shoulders, "How could you?"
Her blue gaze had lowered to her bouquet, down to her wrists, smeared with bruises and burns.
"I didn't mean it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You know that, right, Kate?"
This time it was his hands that searched for her face, gone without blinking. Now he stood alone in the altar, his heart stopped for only the second time. His lips took themselves away from him once more and spoke softly, "No."
"I'm afraid so." said a voice. The man looked up to find Satan once more in front of him. His red eyes had searched the room, "B-e-a-utiful. Isn't it?"
He could not move. He didn't dare. He knew that any struggle he put up would be useless. "Where is she?" he finally asked.
"In heaven, of course." he leaned in with a raised eyebrow, "She didn't kill anyone."
"I didn't mean to."
Satan sighed, "No one really 'means' anything these days."
The man looked down to the candles, waiting for a world to crash down on top of him. "I didn't mean to."
The demon in front of him, the fallen angel, almost laughed in his face, "I'm sure you didn't. In fact, I'd do the exact same thing." his eyes lit up in mock pity, "Oh, wait.."
His hands shook into fists and he closed his eyes as tightly as he could.
"Don't hurt yourself while I'm gone." Satan began to descend down a winding staircase, but stopped to glance once more upon the soulless man, "And don't bother trying to wake yourself up. You have plenty of time to do that. -Tomorrow will be the 7th." he turned and began to disappear behind the banister, "And the next day... and the next day..."

The end.
