We sat together under the moonlight
Until you ran away.
I didn't know where you were going
So I just decided to stay.
And then the moon was hid by a cloud
And you were no where to be found
And then it came as quick as lightning
So cold and yet so frightening
I was taken by surprise
And then I closed my eyes
For you weren't there to save me.

He took me far beneath the ground
Into his castle of darkness
He grabed me once again
And pulled me in his harnest
I tried to struggle and get away
But I was weak and could not stray.
He pulled me to a table
And pushed me onto it
But I tried not to sit.
He forced me and he tied me and his hair was wavy
Familiar but still you were not there to save me.

I could not see his face
For he covered it with his cape
He looked a little like you
But he must have been a fake.
He stood near his cauldron
With a vile in his hand
The fire was high
But only closer he would stand.
He placed the couldron over the fire
Despite the high flames
He covered it with his hand and began to chant and make waves.
You still weren't there.

I couldn't talk
I was to scared.
You weren't there yet
And I was in an evil lair.
I was already so terrified I could hardly breathe
Then he began to do sorcery to use on me
He said some words of pure evil
And I began to quivel
He drank the potion fast
Then he looked at me Last
He cast a spell on me and then I disappeared.
Why weren't you there.

I found myself on the floor
In a room of sorriful gloom.
You weren't there...

And then I saw your face
So kind and unreplaced
And then I saw the truth
All along it was you
And that's why you weren't there.
You then gave me a smile
And gently kissed my cheek
Then you stabbed me with your sword and looked so innocently bleek.

But Why? cry

And then I heard your heart say:
Because I love you.

I tried to ask him why but he wouldn't answer
And then as my soul was lifting up
I saw that the village had just been destroyed
Ruined by an evil void
And the place we had been sitting at
So beautiful the last night
Was nothing but dirt now.
And not at all bright.
Everyone in the village had died.
All of it had happened last night.
So then I understood that he really loved me
and I loved him too.

That evening It was all a dream
But the town was still destroyed and had no gleam.
That was the spell you cast on me
By how you loved me.

But we are still together and always will be...
