I have recently met with an internet friend in real life it wasn't one I met on gaia. I am so pleased that we have met but it is something that should be thought about very carefully before doing. I would not advise children or teens doing so unless its through real friends. But as an adult I did put a lot of thought into it. idea rolleyes

There are some good internet friend I chat with regularly and would love to meet but various things stop it mainly living in different coutries but true internet friendships will survive if they are meant to be but otherwise the friendship will just fizzle out ( no pun on my name intended lol ) I have had a few internet friends that I thought of as real friends and they weren't but on the whole the internet friends I have and keep in regular contact with are friends that remain in my thoughts. True friends are what matter and not past acquaintances internet or otherwise. biggrin
