That's right. You read correctly! I did say "Happy things". I figure, for a change of pace, that I'd go ahead and write to you about the upcoming convention in July that I am going to and about a Good friend of mine that I saw for the first time in forever yesterday. So, I believe I can probably start with Metro first... Seeing as it it's the most pressing on my mind. SOOOooooo... Metrocon is July the 18th till the 20th and We ( I and my friends whom are rooming with me) will be leaving on thursday the 17th to check in. To be honest, I am extremely ecstatic about it being here soon, but I still have so much to do... I need to touch up my Miroku, Wufei, and Kankuro Costumes and Props, I need to build Kuroari for my Kankuro Costume, I need to get a suit and construct a mask for the formal ball (It's theme is "nightmares" so I'm going as Kankuro with either a goblin/oni mask or a Karasu mask), and try to order a new Orginazation XIII coat... If worst comes to worst; I may drop my "New Org." costume and wait for Exp con.

It should be really awesome as I'm sharing a room with a bunch of my good friends ^_^... Now, I'm not going to lie and say that I know it might not be a little awkward as my B.F (ex-G.F.)and her Girlfriend are also in the room, but it'll be cool. As long as there's no drama, it'll be good. Anyways, I'm really excited... I just can't hardly wait ^_^!

Now then, onto my secondary report:

So, then... The day before yesterday, I had a friend named Whittney to call me and ask to hang out yesterday evening. I was REALLLLY taken aback by this as I hadn't talked to her in about two-three months and hadn't seen her in four. So, I was game and, after work yesterday, she swung by and picked me up. We then proceeded to go out to eat at TGIFridays, went to the PierPark outside mall, watched "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", had Sushi at Kobe's Japanese Sushi and Habachi grill, then went back to her house for a bit to play Smash Bro. Brawl. Then, she gave me a lift back to my house. It was alot of fun to get to go with her and I really enjoyed it alot... Although, I wish she would have let me pay her back for the movie and for the Sushi. But, I didn't want to press the issue and make her feel that I didn't appreciate it. In all honesty, I appreciated it a WHOOOOLE lot. It was an extremely kind gesture of her (with me not having hardly any money and all due to family stuff). I sincerely appreciate her ^_^.

Of course, I was just appreciative that she even wanted to talk to me. You see, there was an "Incident" that occured a while back, in Dec. of 2006... I don't really want to go into it because I'm still embaressed and despise myself for it too today, but... Yeah.... ANyways, she moved away afterwards and was gone for about a year; moving back (ironically enough) around the winter of last year. We talked when she got back and I saw her once or twice, but we really didn't have any interaction or anything, so I was worried that she hated me. Well, we talked about it last night and she was as equally sorry as I was about the whole thing and took some of the blame herself. It made me feel a whole lot better about it and that was probably the best part of the evening for me.

So, there ya have it... This Dragon's report for the day is fairly sunny for once n_n;;. I'm equally impressed as all of you. Well, all of my love to you all, my dear friends. God bless ^_~.
