James Buchanan=15th President of the United States.
I got this History project saying I have to look up a bunch of stuff about James Buchanan. I need 2 internet sources, but I'm only allowed to use 4 specific sites given to me. I figure, no problem, they're probably good sites. Boy was I wrong. One of them didn't exist. (Lol) One of them was impossible to navigate. The other two had virtually no info. So after going through these sites for 3 hours trying to pick up info on James Buchanan's foreign policy, I figure screw this, I'll just get a random site...even though I'm technically not supposed to. Oh well.
So I found out, after another hour of research, that this guy had no foreign policy. All he did when he was president was try to keep the Northerners and Southerners from killing each other, and he even failed miserably in that. As soon as he got out of office, BOOM. The Civil War.
So I have nothing to write about on his foreign affairs.
Oh, excuse me, I have one thing. He did try to buy Cuba. But he failed.
Wow. He died over 100 years ago, and yet I feel the urge to kill him. I feel that, as president of a country, one should probably do SOMETHING useful during one's time in office. James Buchanan, you are Epic Phail.
