Brenda's books shock me too much. A few months ago, she let me borrow some of her books (all fantasy type and way good). Well, we went to the website of one of the authors, Richelle Mead, and found out the exact date of her next release in the series. It was back sometime in March and we freaked out naturally getting all excited, but neither of us got to read the book. Yet being an idiot, I couldn't resist and my mom went to Waldenbooks to order Frostbite from The Vampire Academy series with me!!!

Seriously, I died and went to heaven for several reasons. I read all the way to the end of the book after being not even half way through the book because an accidental look at the next chapter shook me up to the point where I had to put it down for a while....but now it's all better and the series is still kicking major butt!!!! And more importantly....-spoiler-...DIMTIRI DIDN'T LEAVE ROSE AND THE TWO ARE BACK TOGETHER AS MUCH AS THEY WERE BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!....-end spoiler- HEEEEEEE HEEE!!! Dang. I freaked out with all that drama there at the end, but I'm glad it ended like that 'cause that's my favorite pairing especially based on what happened in the first one. heart (Bad, but I love it!!!) Not to mention I like seeing those two get affectionate since it's just so intoxicating and all.....Hee hee. Well, if you like vampires and romance, I'd recommend the series just so long as you can handle other things as well.
Oh, before I forget......
MEAD HAS ALREADY BEGUN WORK ON THE THIRD VAMPIRE ACADEMY NOVEL!!!!!!!!
