Anxiously sitting, breathing heavily, the air suddenly dense. Scratching in a possible answer, only then to cross it angrily. Solving another question after I finish the other. Time is ticking, re-straightening my glasses. Tapping the eraser against the warm desk and beads of sweat pop up. Circling answers and thinking hard. Mind racing, heart pumping. This matters...thinking about other things and letting my mind drift has no good effect. Finishing up re-looking, glancing to look again. How mind boggling, how nerve racking, how frightening two periods can be.
(I was taking Finals at school, yikes right? rolleyes Ah, well.)
