I've noticed that people at my school were really mean to certain people. I mean, no duh, right? But still.
I'm not very popular. I'll be honest. The popular people either make fun of me or don't notice me. And I just always love watching them make fun of the unpopular big-headed people who act like they're popular or try to stand out or fit in to become popular. Like Anna.
Anna always seems to treat everybody like her homie or whatever while still trying to pull of some kind of 'tough-girl' attitude. No. You can't do that unless that's really who you are. She openly reads manga and talks about it. No. To popular-er poeple, manga is weird and/or for weird people. Don't talk about it at school. And don't DRESS like it at school, of course. But she does, and she did. Or, she tried to. She wore the same sweatshirt she wears every day (she's gotta stop doing that) and with it she wore a red and black plaid pleated skirt (as seen in most school uniforms in anime and manga). She calls herself an emo. No. She's a poser. Trust me, I know the difference, even though I'm not emo.
But how does that story relate to the topic? Well, the preps ate her up for it, that's how. Actually, not just preps, but just about everyone, because she looked terrible in it. For example, if I were to wear that very same outfit (with the right hairstyle and makeup, of course; not to sound preppy or anything, but hair and makeup is an important aspect of where people are on the social ladder, along with clothes. Shoes don't matter to me, though), people wouldn't mind. That's what I mean.
Please don't read htis and automatically label me as a prep. I swear to God I'm not. A lot of my friends are emo and/or depressed. Please don't judge them or me from just one journal entry or just one look.
Bye-bye! Keeps reading my journal if you like what I write!
