It's been almost a year since I last wrote in this journal...
A lot of things have happened to me, and I'm not sure that I can talk about all of them within these pages.
For starters, I had traveled to a place known as the "Threshold Academy" after I was kicked out of the village. Apparently, they frown upon assassinating the leader just to prove that he's not worth the crown that sits on his head.
While I was at "Threshold", I met some rather unique characters...all with powers to complement my own. There was Akari Tre, with the power of light. He was able to use all sorts of light and holy techniques. Then there was Sam Reynolds; he was a loudmouthed braggart who was always wearing headphones. He used flame techniques in his battle style. There was another girl, named Mitarashi Sakura, and she used telekinesis and various wind skills to aid her in a fight.
But the strangest two of all: Kindano Yota and Tineda Kenji. Yota-kun used the powers of the earth itself to fight. He also had a strange book that he was always reading, and a pendant that transformed into a powerful scythe that he wielded with amazing skill. He nearly never talked, but when he did, he usually said something important.
Tineda Kenji, though, was something different. He was...sad, it seemed to me. He had this strange melancholy about him, and it never seemed to really go away. He was a powerful warrior; he even managed to use all the elements in his attack style, he used runic designs that utilized them in almost master-level prowess.

After I picked a fight with the wrong guy at "Threshold", Tineda-san appeared to me one night, telling me that he could make me even stronger than I could imagine. Who was I to say no to an offer like that? He created some sort of vortex, or a portal I guess, and we were taken to an alternate world called "The Organization of Light." He just called it the "Organization."

I met some more interesting people there, and one thing that wasn't really a person, but just as talkative. It was a lizard, somewhat like a small dragon in my opinion, named Kevrel. He was a familiar to an assassin named Zanith. He always had a funny joke or was doing something to laugh at...Which really seemed to conflict with his choice of profession. I mean, what kind of assassin practices slap-stick comedy? Not my place to judge, though, I suppose.

I've been busy training on my own though, away from everyone I've known...I wonder if I'm even allowed back, come to think of it...I hope so. I'm eager to see Zanith, Kevrel, Yota...and Tineda. I hope they all remember me.
