I hope everyone who reads my journal has a wonderful day today with their family. Not everyone has family to celebrate holidays with. Like me. I'm all alone today and even though I don't have family I could at least be doing something with my mom but she doesn't seem to care that we spend time together as a family. One of her friends bought us some fireworks the other day and when I told my mom she got mad about it. I don't see why. I never get to see the fireworks on July 4th because my mom never buys any nor cares for them. My family in Germany are probably all together and spending time together today and having fun, and I sit here envying every last one of them that they even have the opportunity to be together because I know they don't appreciate the time they spend with the family because they don;t know what its like to be me. I know I never really appreciated it when I was younger but now that I'm older I know what it means to be with your family. I haven't spent a holiday with my family in nearly ten years excluding Easter. I miss everyone and sometimes I don't know how much longer I can live like this.

I know you don't just have to spend holidays with family but also with friends and others. But I have literally no one to celebrate a damn thing with. Not even my boyfriend because he's busy being with his family. It seems like everyone has family except me.

Everyone who gets a chance every year to be with their family is very lucky. And you all don't know how lucky you are. So I hope you all enjoy your time together today.
