Okay, so we weren't doomed. Not even close. Even my mixed ensemble, which I was sure would fall into a million (alright, more like four) pieces halfway through the Beethoven trio...we didn't! Even my triplet runs were as awesome as could have been expected. Though the clarinet boy forgot to play one of his cues that allowed me to breathe during my runs, so it sounded like I made a mistake...but I didn't, he did. twisted I'm sorry, I don't much like clarinets. (Except you, Tiffy!)
The saxophone ensemble was terrible. And it wasn't even an ensemble, it was an army. (Really! There were, like, twenty of them!) Clarinets and flutes were armies too. But they were good. Especially the clarintets, no matter how much I don't like them. "Rhapsody in Blue." It was amazing. That soloist would have put Zach Dionese (who is Kira) in his place.
