What you should do is express your feelings to your boyfriend. If he understands and lets you go off with that other guy, then you'll know he was a true boyfriend and he loved you very much.
HOWEVER, if he's a total Douche and he's all "******** HIM IM GONNA BEAT HIS a**"
or "YOU FACKIN SLUT I HATE CHU!!!" Then he wasn't a true boyfriend and hes simply a douche.
That'd suck if you broke up wit ur boifriend and that one dude didn't like you, so make up your mind and choose wisely!
And p.s.
That was just my opinion so don't take it to heart if you don't want to.
Believe me, I've had that problem before and it sorta works out when you do that

that is a predicament, but i'm kinda good with these problems. what u should do is be confident and just tell him that u like him but u are already dating some1 that u cant jus go up and leave for him since ur heart is to ur guy. Unless this guy ur not dating doesnt like u and leave for him then u WOULD have problem, but hey this is just a opinion.
