in a grave the dead do lay
above the grave mourners do stay
why do you weep? for our loss
your loss? what about theirs? yes, for them we weep
why? for their loss of pain? their freedom from sorrow?
the only thing is they wont see tomorrow
why cry and weep over sorrows release?
why do you mourn, you all were born
some may mourn when you wake never more
death means life, and life means death
good and bad, beginning and end
why do we appeal to god, and death
for a few more days of sorrow and pain.
