the echo of tears
the tears hit the page with a new found rythm
as she thinks of all the hurt and pain
she never lashes out or talks back
so the reasons behind them are plain
she writes down words with her scratchy pen
as she struggles to see through blurry eyes
she tells of her life, so filled with strife
and how she waits for her demise
over and over she'll write evry line
each one filled with emotion and sorrow
with hurt as the result of things untrue
as she tries to think of a better tomorrow
then she met Daniels so plain and pure
and thought every feelings they shared were true
then she finds out about his web of lies
and sinks into darkness a new
now she stares into empty blackness
as tears continue to fill her eyes
and everything she knew begins to fade
as she sits in the corner and continues to cry
