classes are over! and more :3
yo! at long last, my classes at University of Minnesota are finally finished yesterday with insanely difficult exam. I was able to complete it within 3 hours limit ablit the difficulty of exam, I am hoping that I get good marks for the exam. I got A- for Logic class and I need at least a C for European History so I can get Associate Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, in case if I could not complete my Bacholer Degree.

and phew, I had a looooong day today... the August MC is a lame attempt at creating a set of fancy wardrobes of warlords (even if they're dazzling fancy) and weird set of items that clearly aiming at the exhibition of embracing seductive human nature and sexuality. Did Gaian Admin crossing the line now? I am noticing this too often this year and I am concerned because this is the site aiming at young and very young audience and to giving some hints of seductiveness is quite alienating and bizarre direction. Ignoring the Gaian politics of artistic directions, the merit of artistic directions for the current MC is quite lacking, in my opinions... and the majority seems to agree with this overall opinion. The average price for both MC items dropped about 6,000 golds in just less than a day!

well, I guess I can follow this with my date's wisdom of the day: you can't really dislike MC, you just become interested in them or not. Even if the current MC worth my criticisms, I can't ignore the fact that there ARE minority who enjoy those items and they think they are worth their money. I can't even argue their opinions because they also have a right to entitle on what they think. That why we live in a democracy, eh? x3 hooray 1st Amendment!

also, I relaxed a lot here today and managed to fawn over many very interesting available and upcoming Wii and DS games that are and could even rival many of AAA titles for PS3 and Xbox360.

WII
Mario Galaxy
Okami
Zack & Wiki
Spore
Ghostbusters
Deadly Creature
FFCC: Crystal Bearers
Sadness
The Conduit
de Blob

DS
LOZ: Phantom Hourglass
Phoenix Wright series
Brain Age 2
Rhythm Heaven
Kirby Superstar Ultra

I am very excited about many games because even few Wii games I have won my heart, especially my most played game of the year in "No More Heroes". I notice the trend that developers are becoming more akin to deliver very artistical and fun experience to both of Nintendo consoles that you won't even find on more powerful systems, even if they trumps Nintendo on cinematic experiences and graphic horsepower. Nintendo won my soul for this generation right now and more of big developers need to reach out to Wii and DS.

and at last, I hope you all watch the Olympics Opening Cermony on TV because... wow... it is the BEST opening I ever seen for any Olympics games in history, EVER. Not only each of the performances excel on technological fronts, but they're visually arresting, ethereally beautiful, strikingly philosophical, and thematically powerful. The opening cermony began with the huge drumline set in two large rectangular group of 2,008 drummers and each proceeding performances took the captivating experiences of cultural art to soaring new heights and will rip your breathes away. I never felt so stunned and amazed in my life by incredibly cereographed cermony that give Olympics a breathtaking new theme that suggested by countless ideas and historical details found in many of performance: HARMONY. That word spoke so true after many of conflicts broke out in many of nations in politics, warfare, and society. After all, Olympics is the time of the year when we people, as one, put our situations aside and unite as brothers and sisters and enjoy the fun of friendly competitions.

What the Chinese done, they powerfully delivered the message to the world that the theme of harmony is utmost important to us all not only in present, but for the future.

Beijing Olympics 2008 is gonna be one heck of fun ride biggrin

Peace, Avek Fenr Onsi Vaer
