with the creatures roar, it spread wings that were about 5 feet each. Not wasting a moment, Emand reached to the wall and grabed the sword that her father had put on the wall. seeing her move, the creature made a lunge for her, giving the same horrible screech. in just the right moment, Emand drew the sword, and with the most strength she could muster, she swumg the sword. the sword sliced through the beast like butter, and three of the jaw segments fell to the ground. rearing back in pain, the creature made for the window. smashing throug the window, the beast flew off, with a strange, orangish blood still flowing from its mouth.
"Whaaa?" came the sound of Emands mother, "What has happened!?"
