There was I, sitting alone in those spacey benches facing the now-empty basketball court. I rested my elbows on my knees, as i felt the grass under the soles of my shoes. I gave a sigh and i felt a light hand on my shoulder. It was Humphrey, with a warm smile at me. I forced out at smile and looked back down. I felt him move from behind me to sitting right beside me. He crossed his legs, and greeted. "You know the look on your face is very familiar... I used to display a look like that..." He paused to look at me. "When I had problems, especially regarding the heart. So tell me, what's wrong?" I looked at him, and looked back down. I never gave a response to his question. Then he broke the silence saying, "You know, dude, whatever love story you may have, whatever the conflict of it is. All love stories revolve around one thing. May it be a sinking ship, or a wizard academy, an unfortunate meeting at a restaurant, or a small spider bite. Whatever the story may be about it all revolves around one thing." And he smiled, looking at the clouds turning pink and orange as the sun set. "It's how far will you go for love?"
And i simply nodded and smiled at him. "Thanks... You're a weird species of teacher." And he laughed. Answering back "Well, i'm not really something to call a teacher, though it is my job." And i laughed, "Well, obviously... But sir, actually i don't have a heart ache... I was just thinking about how will survive with only 75 pesos of allowance for 3 days..."
xd ~ this happened 2 years ago, on a Tuesday... i didn't know him well that time since he was just a new teacher...
for those who does not know... Humphrey is my whacked out teacher. Who is the most dramatic, and crazy person i know. And yes he is my teacher....lol blaugh ~
