Shadowed by high mountains, the villages of Ichi, Ni, San, and Shi were spread over acres of land. Each village had a farmer, and each it’s priest or priestess. Traveling wasn’t necessarily a breeze, the woods of the land unmarked and rough. Halfway up the previously mentioned mountains were hot springs, not run by anyone, and free for anyone’s use. The weather was wonderful, always the right temperature. The sun always shone the right way, giving the plants what they needed. The lands were lush, the soil fertile. Harvest came at the same time every year, and the harvest were always plentiful.

But now that evil has arisen, everything is the opposite. The villages have been run down. Food is scarce; seemingly only for the demon’s taking. It’s constantly either too cold, or too hot. The sun beats down on the land during the summer, and during the winter it hides. Winds pick up every few minutes, and they aren’t for the benefit of the land or the people. They only destroy. Villages Ichi and Ni were burnt to the ground; San and Shi still trying to run them. All they want is for things to get back to the way they were.
