I HATE all the changes Gaia's making.

My current loathing: My-Gaia Landing Page Redesign.

Seriously, it's SO slow! It takes me FOREVER to get to all the My Gaia stuff now. Not to mention the server keeps getting swooshed out from the connectivity's feet. I wait two minutes and can't even GET to the page I waited on!!

And I can't send PMs again, which sucks. It says the server is unavaliable. It HAS to be because of the new layout!!

What I think is funny is, the admin put up a thread about feedback when they gave us a preview, but not now since we actually have the design and can interact with it. The only big differences are the tabs (which, I will say, makes it convenient to use) and the front page. But I hate the front page. What if you have nothing in your house and don't bother with your car (like me)? I can see that the constant view of it would be annoying, but either way why isn't there an option to toggle it off?!

IF GAIA WON'T POLL US TO SEE WHETHER WE LIKE THE STUFF THEY DO OR NOT, THEN THEY SHOULD AT LEAST BE FAIR AND HAVE TOGGLE OPTIONS.

My ideal toggle option: Toggle Gaia back to colorful anime mode. Back to when Gaia was a small, FUN Community and wasn't in it for the money.

Seriously, why don't they keep records of their old layouts (like Wikipedia keeps track of their old articles in case someone's stupid enough to erase one with something like, "I like hamsters" wink ? And if they DO, how come they can't incorporate a toggle-option between them?

Oh, but wait. That means work for them that we WANT them to do. So they won't do it. Never never.

Now, here I am complaining. And I bet some random people might say, "If you don't like it, then leave". I'm addicted to this site and I will fight to the end so it doesn't go to the dogs (myspace && Facebook)!!!

And along with that "they're all in it for the money" bit:: Gaia needs more money to pay for all its staff and servers, etc, probably. IF THEY'D STOP CHANGING THE SERVERS AND THE LAYOUTS, THEY'D BE ABLE TO CUT DOWN ON STAFF AND REQUIRED FUNDS, thus EVERYTHING WOULD BE BACK TO HAPPY GAIA AGAIN YAYZ. Our pixels would be free and so would our worries about whether Gaia's dying and making little enemies in people who ever bought MCs or Cash Cards.

Well, anyway, I'm just bringing up a lot of recycled points. That ends my negativeness for the day. I hope.
