I met the Silver Surfer, AND Abe Sapien, at Starbucks today!!!!
OK, so it was the ACTOR who played both of them in the movies...still cool, right?
Shoock his hand, (and mighta stloen a bit of the Power Cosmic) and then he and his brother had to get going.
He was embarresed at first about the way he was introduced (by said brother, who's seen me hanging out at a comic shop, as I so often do because I really don't have a life) but was nice too.
Yes, he looks WAAAY different without prosthetic make-up. He has hair, for one thing...and much less gills.
