So with all the hubbub about the multiple hurricanes we've been experiencing as of late I thought I'd rant a little. I honestly can't feel bad for people whose homes/lives are destroyed from hurricanes. It's not a tornado. They don't just appear. We know sometimes weeks ahead of time.

Money isn't really a options because you can be bussed out during the evacuation (if there isn't an evacuation you shouldn't have too much to worry about) and probably get picked up if you hitchhiked.

Thats just my take on it. I've experienced plenty of them so I guess I chalk it up to people that are left behind just have no common sense and people with no common sense are easy pickings for natural selection. Catch my drift? People knew Katrina would happen. They didn't take it seriously and blamed everyone but themselves for the problem. "Oh the Government this! Bush that!" If you stick you hand in a fire, chances are, your gonna get burned. If you live BELOW SEA LEVEL chances are, your going to flood.

I do not feel sorry for those people. Not a bit. Is you place-of-origin (family home/whatever) more important then you life?

Ah anyway I'm done. End rant. Oh the newest three are Hanna, Ike, and...J-something. I'll be fine because I'm clever and all so no worries. Ta!
