but the girl who is with him is familiar to me
her hair long and dark, skin fair and pretty
a couple of freckles in one place
where have i seen this familiar face?
I put down the picture on which were my tears
for someone had realized the worst of my fears
I sat at his gravestone and said a quick prayer
