So I've always like to believe that I have one really close friend, and then the rest don't have numbers or labels. I like to think that, but it's not always the truth.
I guess it's not that I can't follow that system. I do, whole heartedly. I guess it's that no one else can. I brought it up with my friends, and they began talking about favoritism. And when I said something about getting used to being second best, one of them piped up that I was first on thier buddly list. I don't think buddy lists are the thing thatr bother me...
It's the people who you consider close that talk constantly about the same people, and making plans with people in front of you, and realising that being out of their favor may have done you a favor....
