Chang's Thoughts...
Return
Lee Lee Chang, once the fool of Rosso’s place approached the doorway. He hesitated for a moment, as his memories suddenly began to fill his head. He was noticeably more ripped than he was when everyone last saw him. This was due to the few months of intense training he underwent in his absence. All his memories played in order, as if they were being watched on TV.

After his humiliating loss to Quinion, he shed his idiotic nature forever. He left the country, in search of training. Chan Lee was an excellent teacher, but he wanted more. He bought an old rowing boat from an old couple who lived in a small shack along the coast. He packed his things – a few loaves of bread, a fishing pole, and few pairs of clothes – on his back, and rowed out.

He rowed the whole way across the ocean, while eating his food in tiny portions. His first stop was China, where he hoped to better his martial arts skill. He asked around, until he was pointed toward a small hill with a hut on top. In that hut, lived one of China’s greatest martial arts masters, if not the greatest, Mao Sheng. He stayed with him for one month, learning all his moves, stances, et cetera; but it was time to learn more.

His next stop was Japan, where he quested to become a professional with handling weapons, excluding guns. He came across a weapons shop, owned by a woman named Kiko. She offered to teach him, if he would become her lover. He stayed with her almost two months, before he decided to leave. At his time there, he learned many sword and knife techniques and much more. She became pregnant, but found out a day after his departure.

His third stop was Germany, where he searched to improve his physical strength highly, in whatever ways he had to. He saw a poster of a body builder, with the name Alfred Franz. Mr. Franz was located in an arena, where he took on any opponent. Chang stepped in, and made a deal with Albert; if he won, he had to help him with his body. He defeated him, and the two met up at Albert’s house the next morning. Though they only spent three weeks together, Chang was trained intensely, resulting in the Chang today.

His fourth stop was somewhere in Africa, in a small jungle. He found a tribe with a name that could not be spelled, simply because it was made up of sounds they made by their tongues. He learned their language, and pleaded with the village’s chief to show him how to have such speed and agility such as theirs. The technique was simple. Performing everyday tasks, such as picking fruit, and also being chased by the predators of the jungle greatly increased speed and agility.

His final stop was to India, where he hoped to greatly improve his meditation and Ki control skills. In the largest temple lived the grandest meditation master there was. The temple was considered holy, but this did not stop Chang. He fought off the guards, and entered, demanding the master’s teaching. He agreed, and the two began. For five weeks, they sat still, without any food or drink. On the third week, Chang could feel himself in touch with Ki more than he ever was before. Somehow, he retained his muscles, even without eating, probably because of his newfound Ki control. After he departed, he returned home, bringing us to where we are now.

He stared at the doors of Rosso’s, the meta-human hangout, and sighed deeply. Slowly he reached for the handle, thinking of how he would be welcomed. There were surely some powerful people in there, and he wondered if his months of training would pay off. Only time would tell. He opened the doors, and said “I’m back.”
