The Epitome of Drama
Ever wonder what an ordinary person's life is like? No? Well, you're about to find out anyway. -Title credited to [.Distorted-Reality.]-
My...Interesting...Day
Okay, well, for the most part, it was an okay day. So, here's what happened:

(Note: I'm on a block schedule, so I only get 4 classes a day.)

1st period: History- Nothing really interesting here, except a kid might've gotten suspended/kicked out of school, so he's not coming back. He was a Sophmore and it was his third time taking the class (failed the class twice, failed a year once). Why he got suspended? Last Thursday he was caught smoking outside of school right before class started.

Him: *Walks in eating Mentos*
Teacher: I'm expecting a call from the office for you to go down.
Him: Why!?
Teacher: I don't know why, but the evidence is in your hands.
(This made me think he had like, broke into the snack machine or something. sweatdrop )
Him: What!? I was not smoking! Do I smell like smoke to you!?
Teacher: Oh! So you were smoking? I never implied that you were.
Him: Look at my eyes! Do I look like I'm lieing!?
Kid: Yes.
Him: Shut up!

Turns out, he was (they checked the cameras), so we probably won't be seeing him for a bit.

So, we sat through the lesson, learned nothing new. So then 7th period (homeroom and you have it everyday) rolls around...

7th Period: Gym: Nothing new. Lifted again. Then got asked to move weights around because I'm one of the stronger people in the groups we had. whee Other than that, nothing majorly new. Except I kept checking my locker.
Last Friday, when I went in to dress out for gym, I undid my lock and found a wasp in my locker. Now, I'm deathly afraid of bees and wasps, so naturally I freaked out. One of the girls came over, MISSED it with her shoe, so it went up into the lights. Stayed there for some time. stressed

3rd Period: Spanish: Got a quiz back...have to learn 50 new words in about 2 days...nothing new.

5th Period: Adv. English: THIS class, is actually good in some ways. Or, at least today. Well, while I was looking over a girl's paper, I had to look in the dictionary to double check how to spell a word. Found this:

Man-ta 'mant-e

n. [Sp, alter. of manto cloak, fr. L mantus short cloak; prob. akin to L mantellum mantel] (1697) 1: a square piece of cloth or blanket used in southwestern U.S. and Latin America usu. as a cloak or shawl 2 [AmerSp, fr. Sp; fr. its shape]: DEVILFISH 1

So basically, Manta's a cloak. lol

And while I was reading the definition, I looked up and saw a kid reading an article about Mick Jagger (where Mic Jaguar [Chocolove's spirit] gets his name from). xd

Then we got tests and stuff. And now we're going to watch Clueless in English. xd

After school: Well, today I had to learn lights and sound for the auditorium (a job/activity that I do). So, I went there after school to find the doors locked. neutral

Me: ...Wonderful.
Aly (A friend of mine): Hey! What are you doing?
Me: Trying to get into the auditorium before 2...(It was about 1:50.) So now I don't know...
Aly: Well, you were going to help me get my book.
Me: ...? I was?
Aly: Yes.
Me: Oh...right.

So we had a chat along the way to English, she got lost, so I had to go the right way. Retrieved her book and went back to the auditorium. Some kids got inside, so I followed them.

Now for the...preview...into lights and sound.

So, we all sat down in some of the chairs, got roll (some people already got cut) and then learned a few things. I was in the group which got to climb first, so we went up the first ladder onto the first landing (about 8 or 9 feet up). About the first landing: There's a small area for a few people to stand before you get to the breakers and large wires. The only railing is behind the breakers OVER the giant metal covered wires.

Me: *Looks down* ...= =;;
Kid: I thought you said you weren't afraid of heights.
Me: It's not that I'm afraid of heights, just falling without beind secured into something. (I've had a few near death experiences.)
Kid: ...Isn't that the same thing?
Me: No. *Climbs up second ladder*

Okay, this is where the venting for the auditorium is (if you've ever been to a big size movie theather, that big. At least...24-30+ feet up. And you're on these little tiny platforms where you have to duck down and crawl.)

Me: *Looking around**Looks down* ...= =;; STUPID.

So he showed us the 6 foot gap between these two landings, of course we don't try to jump over it...unless you want to fall onto the hot lights, vent, or through the crack in the cieling for the lights.

So we finally got down, we learned the rest of the stuff. For sound and lights, basically move the dial up to get louder/brighter or down for softer/lower. Then don't touch such and such...

And now I'm here. xd
