I knew when he held me in the palm of his hand
when he glared at me and my small figure
when so easily he could have killed me in one swift moment
when he could have easily shut me in his hand silencing me forever
when I looked in his eyes as black as night with fear
when I stood in his palm and standing with shaking legs
when he could so easily he could have killed me
he loved me and cherished me in his hand with skies of black night.
to forever and back with those words he protected me
when so easily I loved him back.
