It's cold, and my nerves are shot!
There's a chill in the air and I bury my head beneath the covers to try to keep it out, my toes, they creap out slowly, only for me to pull them back under and close all the cracks, but the alarm clock is buzzing and the cat is meowing, "Get up and FEED ME NOW!" So I wake up, with a stretch and a yawn the strong smell of coffee greeting me.
My answering machine is blinking, but the messages are people who only want money so I delete them all. My head is spinning and it's only 6 a.m., my heart is racing and I want to go back to bed.
Why is it that summer can leave so quickly? The sweet smell of fall is in the air, the chill about me tells me that. The dampness catching at my skin, sending goosebumps and shivers up my arms. I turn the heater to 60, and close all the windows, as hot oatmeal bubbles on the stove.
The morning is still slightly gray, the bright blue of yesterday has gone once more, a white striked, cloud filled sky waves at me through my window, and I sigh thinking how I would mind sitting on my steps in the warm sunlight today.
Perhaps I will take a walk today, the motion in which I feel freedom, about me the trees changing the soft wind blowing my hair. Shop windows filled with colors and objects, that fill my eyes with peace and happiness. Cafe's and bakeries driving my senses wild and people talking, mingling, giving me, freedom, incite, into lives not mine.
I turn the radio on, honkey tonk hits me in the face, making me want to dance, music, being the beat of my heart, I don't care what it is as long as it wakes me up and get's me on my feet, and in the kitchen to wash those dishes that have been waiting for me for days.
Perhaps this day won't be that bad afterall.
P.S, Thank you Nge For my Ears!!! Oh and I am not mad at you, just you have to let me know you are sick, sometimes I understand you and sometimes I don't... It's just I have been having a bad couple of days and I didn't understand why you were so frustrated and pissy all of a sudden.
