The footsteps down the hall, and the loud music trying to drown it out
With only 1 out of 12 pages
Slammed doors, back into the same old routine
And still another 7 hours until my head can hit the mattress
Oh the rainbows will try to win this round, tomorrow
But don't be scared...
Because maybe for once this won't be a fail
But that won't bring them back, and they won't get closer
So why bother?
Do I even have to ask?
When I know which is worse
Even denial can't hide that
So I'll just stress out some more, and ignore it until tomorrow
When we will all get ******** up and forget about the past
Just to blow our pay checks and get some attention
From the same strangers that hurt us in the past
But, HELL YEAH!
