A recent trip and a cookie reminded me of this one time I opened one up. It had a fortune, as well as a translation of how to say something in Chinese, and that would be the part that I opened up on me thinks. Well, either way, I saw the word, and just sat there, gaping, until I was asked what it said. (My face = o-o''') Finally, I blurted it out. It said:
Boyfriend
.... Yeah. I was freaked out. No comment. And then, when I was but a little girl, I had another fortune cookie, and this one said something like:
"May you and your wife live a long and prosperous life."
Or something like that. Now, needless to say, I liked a guy then, so once again, I was freaked out. Just a random tidbit story for you guys. Sooooo, anyone else have a cookie tale they'd like to share?
