DONT SPEAK, LISTEN
Good evening ghouls, goons, and goblins. Have you heard the happy tale of the Little Red Riding Hood?
Yes? Good. I know how you all love the gruesome and gory twists I put on the humans beloved stories, and today’s tale is about the Little Red Riding Hood. You have heard in the human story that Little Red is a docile and peaceful character, but what if she contemplated revenge, what if she was not so peaceful. This tale explores just that.

Little Red Riding Hood

As she did on every weekend, Little Red Riding Hood went to the cemetery to visit her grandmother’s grave. Since the incident with the wolf Red had been going every weekend. Although, she felt, this time would be very different. As Red skipped along the cobble-stoned walk way, she looked up at the beautiful gray sky. Suddenly she tripped on a notch in the walk way. When she got up she looked around, and then continued walking.
Suddenly she heard a wild cawing of a raven, she turned around and when she looked in the direction all she saw was a black feather fluttering down. Where it settled shocked Red. There on the grave of the murderer of her late grandmother, Lupris Canus sat the dark shining feather. A bit shocked, Red rounded the headstone and placed the yellow marigold at the bottom of her grandmother’s grave. She then got up and went back around the wolf’s grave.
She glanced at the grave of the beast and noticed that there was no feather lying atop the stone, instead there was a gaping hole. She noticed a gleam inside and went to investigate. As she peered into the hole, the hand of the shot out into her face and plunged her into the darkness. Red screamed in horror as the claws of the beast scraped at her face.
A few minutes of struggling passed and Little Red Riding Hood’s bloody hand clawed at the ground. Red quickly pulled herself out of the hole and left, when she came back, she had acquired a dagger. Her intentions were sure. She dove into the hole and set to do her work. Yelps and howls and many other sounds of shear anguish and pain drifted into the night. Suddenly the sounds stopped and Red’s scream cut through the icy air. A few seconds later she emerged from the hole and laid the dagger on top of the now blood encrusted grave. She picked up her red hood and peered up at the moonlit sky with her new wolf eyes, and skipped out of sight.

FIN?

I think she was supposed to see the raven with it's blood red eyes.... Perhaps it flys away when she sees it?
Another thing: her hood/cloak/cape is supposed to fly off. Perhaps instead of going out of sight for the dagger, as the wolf would probably come after her, she would scramble from the hole and pull it from a pocket in her cape, because 'since the incident, she had taken to carrying protection should the worst occur' or something.
And the gaping hole seems too random. Can she hear scratching and the wolf pull her ankle in without her seeing the hole, or perhaps a mention of the soil looking disturbed beforehand, so we know something will happen to do with it?
