How far have I gone down?
So far down that I cannot see the shining light of life any longer, only the darkness engulfs me.
Swallows me whole 'til I am no more than a tiny doll, a puppet on the stage.
I don't know if I want to...
Want to escape this life of being...
Second-best, because I know it is the best I will ever be.
What more do I want than her to feel,
to know what it is like,
second best,
farther down the hole.
My dream came too late, her never came,
but yet she will have won it before me,
she says she doesn't want this life forever,
but I know I do,
she will have millions of chances to get that life,
and I have just one small chance to go up into the light...
or fall forever.
