So I went to a play with him, the school play.
He thinks I'm the most amazing person on earth.
^^ Isn't that cute.
School has been dreadful. I did well in ALL of my classes, except for Maths in which I got a C, because of many reasons. The foremost being that my teacher cannot teach, and she has no drive, and she is biased and draws assumptions.
She is also not very smart.
But anyway.
I got this very pretty envelope in the mail stating that I was invited to visit the new president's inauguration this January of 2009, provided I pay for the tuition (which covers traveling expenses, rooming, food, and activities) which is far beyond my budget. A 16 year old cannot pay 2300 dollars unless she is very well provided for.
I'm only interested in the inauguration, some of the workshops, and the private inauguration ball.
I've never been to a ball, and I would so love to go. Just think of the dancing, and swirling dresses, and handsome strangers to twirl with.
I'm going to keep the invitation.
